Merry Christmas to me lol! Finally had time to set it up this afternoon. I am going to have so much fun with this printer. I have an older Epson Picturemate, but the new version with the wireless feature is so great since I use my iPhone so much these days. Everyone needs to own one of these!

Nice to read positive feedback on a printer. How are the prints? Do you do glossy or matte? I'm thinking of getting a new printer, but I'm super fussy on how the prints come out. Would love a wireless!

Yay!! Glad you are loving it! I bought mine quite a while ago and I absolutely adore that thing!
The prints are fantastic! I bought the replacement ink cartridge with the glossy paper, and although I am not a fan of glossy paper, I have to say the prints are spectacular. I also bought Epson lustre paper and I am in LOVE. I could only get it in 8.5 x 11 but I cut it down to whatever size I am printing and it is what I use most.

I got mine in September. LOVE IT!!! I don't like glossy paper and can't find matte, so I use Epson semi-gloss.
It prints so fast too.
I've been using it this month alot to work on my December Daily. I only have days 23, 24, and 25 left.

I have been using Canon semingloss paper and really like it (coming from ordering Persnickety's matte prints). They sell 50 packs of 4x6 on Amazon. The only thing that I have to be careful with is that you cannot pull up and reposition any embellishments or alpha stickers....so that requires some planning and commitment!
I bought mine last month and am pleased to be caught up with my DD to Christmas Day thanks to it. I am really excited to try weekly PL spreads for the first time in 2017. I have always done monthly since 2010. I am planning on binge watching the videos from Ali's storytelling with PL class to get motivated while we are on vacation over the rest of break.

It sounds like it does better prints than the Selphy?

It sounds like it does better prints than the Selphy? Goodness, yes! True 4x6's without the irksome perforations. It also does nice borderless prints. I'm loving mine too.

How is this paper for stamping on? I almost bought some lustre finish, but the guy in the store said it won't give true blacks so I went for the Epson glossy. It works well with Staz-On, but I really want something that'll work with the Brilliance inks.

I should try on those as a test. We are leaving for vacation in under 24 hours, so I doubt I will have time before we leave. But am happy to test it out when I get back... next year I haven't noticed any issues with the blacks in my prints. I printed a bunch of pics from a Christmas light display we went to and they looked nice. I also printed copies of professional pics we had taken to give as gifts, and the girls were wearing black & cream checked dresses, and they turned out really well.

It sounds like it does better prints than the Selphy? There is absolutely no comparison. Epson PM400 blows the Selphy out of town! I had a Selphy that I never used because I hated the quality of the prints, the fact that you had no option when it came to paper, and the print size wasn't actually even a 4x6. I sold it, bought the PictureMate and have honestly NEVER looked back. It will print up to 5x7, I can use whatever paper I want and the quality is spectacular. I HIGHLY recommend this little gem!

Have any of you that have one had any issues with the print heads clogging up if you don't use it frequently? That is the issue I had with the older Epson Picturemate Charm.

I'd like to know in advance if it's okay if you don't use it often. I might use my printer twice or 3 times a year.

I've had mine almost a year. I have gone from printing a batch every day for weeks to printing just one per month. It has never clogged on me.

I'm thinking about ordering one, but I was wondering if someone could check and tell me if it is dual voltage? I live in Germany and need a 220v. I want to order the dual voltage so I can bring it back to the States with me in a few years.

If the latter, can you link me up?

I haven't printed a picture in a couple of weeks. I just printed one now and it's perfect. No issues whatsoever. This was the reason I almost didn't buy mine. I had heard that the print heads clogged constantly and that you could go through print cartridges in a hurry if you didn't print often. But I honestly go weeks without printing and I haven't had a single issue!

I like having a printer for the times when I do need a print (and we're not close to town and the only places that are in town usually have bad prints) but usually it's only around Christmas that I even use it. Some years I only use it one time during the year.

Thank you for the feedback. My daughter has the Selphy, but she is just a tween and it works for her use, but I would love to have this for myself. It sounds like it prints nice clear photos!

I set my PictureMate up last night. Super easy to get it connected to our network, my phone and my computer. The photo I printed from my phone was true in color and crisp. The Selphy printed darker and muddier for me.
I think this will revolutionize my memory keeping for 2017!
