I'm so sorry for your loss. These tiny creatures are such big parts of our lives that it's heartbreaking when they're gone. He was a beautiful pup, and quite well loved, I'm sure. Sending hugs to you and your family.

So very sorry. I lost my 16 year old Jack Russell Terrorist a couple of years ago. I cannot believe how I still miss hearing his little nails click along the tile as he shadowed me.
J Isn't that the truth? Even though we have two other dogs, the house was crazy quiet last night without the clicking of nails on the tile. And I miss seeing him curled up in my chair. And ha ha JRT! We called ours Jack Russell Troublemaker! He was too smart for his own good, but mostly he was a very well behaved pet. Well, when I was around anyway. He was very much a one person dog. They are such a fun breed. Finn did the craziest things. I used to regularly have to rescue him off the roof of the house. He used to climb our apple trees and take bites out of apples. He was also one that would swing his hind quarters around and up onto a tree so he could mark at a big dog height. Finn behaved very well for me, was a bit less well behaved for dh and ds. Definitely a one person dog, and that person was me! May all of your happy memories of your pup make you smile when you miss him most. J

He was fun, but very smart and very high energy when he was young. I don't think I could ever convince DH to get another one! The tiny teacup poodle lapdog we just adopted for DD is about our speed these days.
