Climbing into our new bed with the gel topper which is heaven to sleep on. My sitting room with the curtains drawn and all my lovely candles lit. OPI's Black Cherry Chutney polish on my nails - my all time favourite of theirs and my perfect winter colour. Oh and my little, totally adorable grandson, of course Excuse me while I show him off. Neal's Yard Remedies Wild Beauty Balm-just what my dry winter skin needs Christmas cards-I've undecorated, but haven't taken them down Holiday candle fro Pottery Barn-I don't like strong scents, but this one is perfect. Anker portable charger-I've had this awhile, but I have really come to rely on this. Definitely a must have purchase. I received the Anker rechargeable too in my stocking and haven't used it yet!

Knitting again after a 25 year break Ah yes knitting, I am enjoying it atm but I don't think it will replace crochet as my main squeeze! I'm just so slow and get flustered with it so easily.

Multiple Christmas gift cards. I love shopping and eating out, and someone else pays(via their generous gift card). You are right about that... it's like getting gifted twice. Oh and my little, totally adorable grandson, of course Excuse me while I show him off. (With my Dh.) I want one of those. The grandson, I mean. I have a husband. Lol. My faves include: - a Bose bluetooth speaker from my MIL for Christmas that has such great sound - all the cool features on my new iPhone 7 Plus that replaced my 5s - one little section of that foil-wrapped dark chocolate orange from Trader Joe's is the perfect bite of sweet - leggings & tunics for easy winter dressing - sheet masks that are not only easy but leave my face feeling wonderful

Tiny Toast cereal, I actually ordered two boxes of it from Amazon when we saw my box was going to be empty soon. I'm still digging my ukulele. We have never tried Tiny Toast cereal, and I'm not sure how this started, but every time DH and I walk past the Tiny Toast on the shelf in the store, we wave at it and say "Hi Tiny Toast! How are you?" Yeah, we are peculiar.

JoP and lainey , thank you I'm not complaining! lesley , so tell me about the air fryer! gar , Airfryer, how many ways do I love thee? I bought the Philips HD9220 from Amazon (£69.99 exclusively for Prime members, but I think it's currently the same price in Tesco and Argos.) It will cook up to 800g of chips at one time, and they are gorgeous! The first time I made my chips a little too thin, but the next time they were thicker and perfect - a bit like chip shop chips but crispier and not in the least bit greasy. I used 1tbsp of olive oil for 800g of potatoes, and I followed the instructions religiously. I used Maris Pipers, soaked the chips in cold water for half an hour, and then dried them thoroughly. But chips are only one of its successes. I bought mine on 30/12, and so far I've also made Thai fish cakes (which my food-phobic DS declared delicious), risotto balls, and Southern-fried chicken. It will do anything you can cook in a deep-fat fryer except for food in a wet batter. And your house doesn't stink for hours afterwards, and you don't have to dispose of any oil. And it's healthy!

Andes Mints - the bigger, thicker version they released for Christmas.
Working from home - recently started a new job, and I get to work at home 4 out of the 5-day work-week. Having commuted 45 miles to work (one way) for 19 years, this is heaven!
Cetaphil Restoraderm lotion - it's meant as a body lotion, but I use it on my face. I have suuuuper dry, flaky skin and I've tried dozens of facial moisturizers without fail. This is the only one hydrating enough. Even the Cetaphil face moisturizer is too drying.
Vionic Slippers - so comfy and supportive
