the problem with him is, whenever the media will try and report straight on him- like, what he said, did, etc. He will just call 'foul' and say they're just 'dishonest, liberal media' so we will never hear the end of it. ANY criticism of him at all- or not even criticism- just honest, hard journalism- will from now on be labeled liberal, fake news. Yep. And people are buying it. |

In an interview with the Washington Post in March of 2016, Trump named “Carter Page, Ph.D.,” among others, in response to a question about who would be on his foreign policy team.

Um, ok. He should be able to form coherent sentences and appear professional and intelligent if he is the PEOTUS. Or even just as a CEO. |

I'll give you Exhibit A above - NPR releasing the transcript with wholly inaccurate racist language and attributing it to Donald Trump. That was freaking NPR! I used CNN as my primary overview news station for decades - both on TV and as a quick overview on their webpage. I honestly didn't realize how crappy they were until I finally jumped ship over their auto play videos. I switched to Reuters - which while not perfect at least seems to attempt to follow a journalistic model - CNN is wholly into entertainment and ratings. If ever there was a time for the fourth pillar of democracy it's now - and we need to have confidence in the integrity of that pillar. |

What's the holy shit? CNN never said the golden shower story was verified. They also never implied it was true. The report accurately states that these documents were included in the intelligence briefing given to PE Trump, President Obama and select Congressional leaders.
ETA: I don't watch CNN, I think it's been drivel for years and I don't understand how anyone with two brain cells can spend more than 2 seconds listening to Wolf Blitzer blather about anything but in this case, they are being damned for something they did not claim.

There was definite applause after Trump stated, "you are fake news" and gave the other reporter a chance to ask a question. There's no way to claim ALL - unless someone has a different angle that is showing the reporters instead of Trump. |

Yes, there was some applause but there was also a lot of shouting of questions from others. Each of them wanted a turn at asking their questions. There was no way of telling if it was from other reporters or others in the room at the time. |

Reports I saw said applause came from Trump staff, not the media. I can't picture the so called impartial media applauding during a press conference. But I wasn't there.

I'm 99% sure the only applause was from his staff not reporters.
NPR made a mistake but it does sound like they fixed it pretty fast. So in my opinion it falls under mistake versus any kind of fake news.
I felt deeply embarrassed and sad for our country today.
