I thought people might like to know that Wilna has a new classes starting in September at Big Picture Classes... Art and Design WorkshopI am planning on taking this but I was wondering a couple of things... 1) When you sign up do you get the files included in the class right away or do you have to wait until class starts? This class comes with a bunch of cut files, and I love Wilna's cut files. Class doesn't start for over a month though, so if I don't get those right away I don't see the point in rushing to sign up. 2) what has your experience been with BPC? Obviously $49 for the class is steeper than her classes were at 2Peas (which I missed out on) but I am okay with that price if the classes are well presented and supported. |

I'm signed up and the cut files are not in the classroom yet. As for taking classes at BPC, I think the classroom experience is more cohesive at BPC than at 2Peas. Another bonus for Wilna's class is that if you sign up by using the link on Wilna's blog she will send you a free video she created for a workshop she did in Germany and Barcelona. Her blog has some more detailed info on all the class has to offer. Also I think you can sign up for newsletters from BPC. That's a good way to save money because they often offer introductory prices when the classes are first announced that will save 10-15%. May not work for this class but would be good to use in the future.

Thank you Chastity! I signed up for their emails and did receive a coupon. I haven't taken many online classes, except for Shimelle's, so this will be a fun treat. I really like listening to Wilna; she is so calm. And my father was raised in South Africa, so I smile whenever I hear her accent.

I am plannning to sign up for this class. Got the email, but had not read it thoroughly yet and didn't realize there is a coupon. Thanks for the heads up!

Aha! I was re-reading Wilna's blog post regarding her class and it said "new cut files and printables" each week. She said she had created 23 cutfiles and 6 printables just for the class...so now I NEED to take it. Her cut files have been my favourites.
I only got the coupon I mentioned because I just registered for the site...

She said she had created 23 cutfiles and 6 printables just for the class...so now I NEED to take it. Her cut files have been my favourites. Paperclipping Roundtable usually has a 10% off coupon you can use for BPC classes if you go to the Paperclipping site and click through to BPC also from there. I love Wilna's stuff, but have too much going on for a class right now!
