That's still kinda vague but whatever.
Stage 4 WHAT KIND OF cancer? I'll go with ovarian.
Good grief, why can't we get the whole story.

Just because she was a celebrity doesn't mean the world has the right to know her personal medical information. What difference does it make what kind of cancer the poor woman had and why should it be on the nightly news!?

she owes no one any answers---in life or in death. i'm sad for her death because i watched her when she was young, vibrant, and healthy. i'm sure her character brought many people happiness at the time and that is how she should be remembered. the whole post-happy days aftermath don't need to be dredged up at this point. just my 2 cents.

Oh knock it off, it's a reasonable question.
Especially considering many of you were tossing out alcoholic-drug-addicted-overdose-heroin theories on your own recently.
I asked because I know it will come out.. apparently she had throat cancer and was only diagnosed within the last six months. She was under medical care, autopsy mentioned a feeding tube, & good for her for succeeding in keeping this out of the tabloids.
RIP, Erin Moran.

His delivery was insensitive, but I get what he is saying. I have a lot of addicts in my family. I have been angry and hurt over seeing brothers continue to make horrible, destructive life choices. I'm sure I have said or thought similar things about them. It's painful to watch someone you care about struggle with addiction. He should have toned it down, especially because it wasn't announced what she died of, but i understand the frustration.

I don't think his comments are unreasonable. He obviously knew her well, perhaps he'd even tried to help her in the past and he was frustrated. It doesn't seem to be any secret that she liked to 'party' with drugs and alcohol, so what should he do, sanctify her in death? he was being honest and he was right, if you drink too much and do too many drugs, then you are going to die - perhaps she didn't die directly from drugs as in an overdose but as a long term smoker mouth/throat cancer isn't likely to be a co-incidence...and if you've watched someone do that to themselves for many years, you aren't really shocked when they die relatively young.

i just read the letter her husband posted. her death was so tragic and sad and it makes the drug speculation so much more insensitive and unfounded.

So sad, she was far too young! I was surprised at how young she was because happy days is set in the 50s, but was on in the 80s. I just thought she would have been much older until I realized I could subtract 30 years from how old I thought she was, I probably think the kids from that 70s show are older than they are too, lol. I think it actually started early 70's...
