She's a moron. I used to love her. When she was on the old two peas, I did like her layouts. It's hard to find 8.5x11 scrappers. I liked her photos and usually how she told a story. I rarely listen to podcasts and go to retreats. I didn't know she was doing those things until it was mentioned here. I was disappointed to find out what she is like. She would talk about the work that went into the podcast and you could donate to the podcast if you enjoyed it. BUT she does the podcast for free!

I should say I am not surprised by a second thread about her con game. She states that the hospital gave her a windfall, essentially, to cover her medical costs. How? I keep wondering about this. The hospitals have strict criteria on who they give this kind of help too. I am not body shaming at all. I know that this will be hard to convey online instead of in person. She really is on the bottom rung of criteria. Her health problems are a lot of her own making- eating steak dinners, bragging about eating fast food, not keeping healthy with a pacemaker. I have friends with pacemakers. If they lived her lifestyle they would be dead. Modern day pacemaker's have remote monitoring now- www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2686319/ Her doctor's know what she is up too. I don't think the hospital is going to give her preferential treatment over somebody like a twelve year old little boy who needs a pacemaker and his family can't afford it. She had time to prepare for the battery. My friends with pacemaker's prepare. I understand about health insurance and the costs. I am in one of the states that is down to one carrier, soon to be none. I do have basic coverage because if I had full coverage it would cost three times more than mortgage due to the fact we are down to one carrier. I am writing all of this to say I understand how complicated and expensive insurance can be. I have a very serious pre-existing condition. I maintain good health and try to keep a savings in case of an emergency to cover what my insurance does not. I do not sign up for a Christian based shared health plan and expect that is going to work out for me. It is not! I don't know how GoFund me works. I remember a few weeks ago a celebrity had started a GoFund me page to help with something or other. I can't remember which celebrity at the moment or the cause. The girls were talking about it on one of my celebrity sites and a girl asked what happens if the money is not needed. The girls told her it goes back to the donors. Traci got her windfall from the hospital. She still collected the GoFund me? Even if the money did not automatically not go back to the donor's. Then why did she not take her GoFund me to the hospital and contribute back so another patient could get much needed financial help? I would be so ashamed of myself if I took money like that and used it on a steak dinner and Disney Cruise. I know I would have been donating it or giving it back to my donor's. I would have been embarrassed if anybody started a GoFund for me anyway. I shouldn't care less about her. I am sure she is enjoying being the victim. This woman really burns me. Like I said I have friends with pacemaker's. I watch their struggles. I watch them not be able to do things that Traci brags about! I would love to see some of my friends to be able to go on a Disney vacation and have a nice steak dinner and not worry about their heart.

It wasn't a GoFundMe, it was a PayPal button directly from her website. Nobody donated through a legitimate fundraiser, people just sent her money.
As for why she got the windfall, who knows what she told the hospital? I'm sure they don't follow her Instagram and doubt she told them about her diet. She had to have mentioned the crop that she put off the surgery for, but probably said it was work. Maybe the Disney trip had been planned and paid for "for a long time and non-refundable". Who knows how she spun things to the hospital?

I thought originally there was a Go Fund Me set up by a friend and that the button link on her page led to a paypal donation to the fund. I could be wrong. All I know is if you get a gift of money to pay for medical expenses you don't have, then that is fraud. Pure and simple.
Of all the things she does that just lack insight and are irritating, Lord knows I have those as well at times, this fraudulent money grab is in an entirely different category. It's not a crime to be narrow minded and on a high horse, but it is to solicit and accept money for non existent medical costs, and just bad karma to do it in the name of God.

I am sure her bloodwork and other tests show the effects of her diet. Bloodwork on a clean eater is going to look a lot different than a junk food eater. I know my Mom's doctor is always telling her "I know what your eating!" "You need to stop!" She has a heart condition. I would love to been a fly on the wall on how she spun everything to the hospital. I hope for their sake and the sake of their patients (who probably need that money worse than she does) do find out. The chances of that are very slim. myboysnme Do you think she might not have a pacemaker? I just thought she was one of those ladies who thinks because she has a medical condition she can use that to illicit sympathy and financial gain. A fake illness to commit fraud. I have no words. She needs to be investigated. I think it is so strange her hospital story about how she was funded. I never heard of a hospital funding a patient that way. I have a friend who received funding. She applied for it and had to wait a week for them to review her case before it was granted. She didn't set in the waiting room praying to God. Traci story so reminds me of this story, ever since all of this blew up last week www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4153718/Kevin-MaBone-faked-cancer-surgery-court-date.html

I just thought she was one of those ladies who thinks because she has a medical condition she can use that to illicit sympathy and financial gain. I'm not (yet) entertaining the thought Tracie might have faked her need for a pacemaker. There's nothing really pointing me in that direction so far. However, I do believe, @amayalylac, that she's one of those ladies you described in the quote above. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if her health plan did cover quite a bit of her surgery or the hospital donation was already secured and she just played the victim and exaggerated the whole story. Dangerously delaying the surgery because she simply could not afford it? Nothing covered at all? Sounds all a little too ominous and, frankly, the plot of some cliché-ridden drama TV movie. She was living life quite normally and seemingly without great worry right up until she *finally* did go in for her new pacemaker. Methinks her surgery might have gotten delayed a little bit until the hospital approved her funding. I don't think she ever was close to the edge of dying because she just couldn't afford the surgery or went in thinking she would need to pay everything out of her pocket. The whole backup story about how the hospital decided to just *poof* the bill away after hearing how generous her donators had been reeked of lie-lie-lies. She just twisted the truth and continued to press the modified tale of woe-is-poor-lil-ill-Tracie when she realised some people were dropping big cash into her Paypal/GoFundMe. God truly is good and very blessing in her general direction: she just boasted on IG about her husband getting her an unlimited data phone plan so she can surf the Internet to her heart's content (hah) when she's not at home. By the way, guess who's at it again with the crap diet? https://www.instagram.com/p/BU0dR6DhAT7

She didn't set in the waiting room praying to God. I don't think she faked the pacemaker but she is faking medical costs related to it.
I have worked in hospitals since 1984. I work in one now. Never ever have I known someone to have someone go back and chat to someone and come out and tell a patient don't worry about it. It's our gift to you. People have to prove they have no money or coverage. You can bet something is covered on her plan and they are going to bill for it, even if it's a suture or a Tylenol. I don't believe her story. I think she applied for financial assistance and received it but 'just in case' collected money to cover herself.
The fraud to me is when she didn't need the money for that expense for which the money was collected. If they want to give to a general "We love Tracie' fund and she can use it on a Bloomin' Onion or a Disney Cruise then that is different. But from what I read that is not the case.

Complete jesus freak (he hung out with a lot those types...many of whom he is still good friends with) who no one would have ever guessed would have turned out like she did. She bilked people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer she didn't have as well as soliciting donations for certain charities that didn't exist. Some were legit (my husband did give some money for something she was looking for money for but it went directly to the organization so I think that she was trying to do some good to try and offset her illicit activities), but most of it was all scams. She eventually went on the lamb and was extradited from another state, served some time and is on a repayment plan for everyone who went after her. I think it's something like $400 a month in one county for all but one person...that one person filed in another county and got their own settlement of like $200 a month or something, which was smart. The dozens and dozens of others only get a few dollars from the first settlement each month. Some people were elderly, gave her their ENTIRE life's savings to help her with her 'cancer' and will probably never see all of their money back.

Ok so is she 'poking the bear' (bear being us) with that quote? What does it even mean? She must be poking the Pear with that quote and taking delight in it. "Talk about me! Talk some more!" I'm guessing it means: "One ought not to care about how long one lives when one can have ALL the ice-cream and ALL the fried onions with steak but please drop some cash to extend my life anyway lol as the true gift of life is that God who is so so so very good to me has given it. He is great especially to meeeee. #Blessed" More of her I-am-a-special-lamb-of-the-Shepherd talk. Also, did anyone notice the scripted apostrophes? "[...] is not it's duration but it's donation." Tracie, congratulation's! You are officially allowed to apply for a job at Inked Brands HQ.

She deleted her original scripted quote post we discussed on here claiming one of her IG buddies pointed out the apostrophes. Eh, believe what you will with this woman. There's no doubt in my mind she keeps tabs on what we say about her on here. As always, it's not her fault. She put the apostrophes there not because she has a case of the bad grammar but because "lettering is such a long process" and she "lost track of what the actual words say." Uh-huh. Never her, always someone or something else. Deflect, deflect, deflect. https://www.instagram.com/p/BU47Dmoh0YE

Frankly I wish this information could be reported to the hospital that wrote off her medical bills - it's not a "donation", TC. You pretended you were indigent.
It's a small world @tracieclairborne. You would be wise to remember that.

ScrapsontheRocks I think that was dyslexia not a typo. Hey, I owned up to it, lol sleepingbooty Yuck! That ice cream pic made me nauseous. I am serious. How did she eat that? I would have been in the hospital if I ate that. You know what the doctor would have said to me "Your a dumb ass for eating that nasty ice cream and no GoFund me for you!" Yes, she keeps tabs on us here. Girl is a drama train wreck and thrives on it. You know every night she sets down with her nasty ice cream and steak, gleefully opens her browser and checks her social media on her fraudulently bought iPad Pro. refugeepea Hugs and best wishes. I hope your surgery went well and your recovery is quick.

I know I am trying to emulate it when I practice, but I only have 64 followers, not 2500 that I'm deceiving. It's HARD to learn to letter; it seems she picked it up very quickly. Or, the procreate app is very forgiving.
