I said this earlier on your Comey thread....
Today DT stated that he is more than willing to testify under oath, because he did not say 'that'. The problem with that is that he has been known to lie about things and believes he is perfect/knows all and is able to lie with an absolutely straight face. He believes he is not lying. Unless there are tapes, it may well be he said, he said.
He believes that he is no longer going to be investigated, because Comey said he was not before, he has been vindicated.

Under oath or not, he'll lie anyway. The psychopath has no scruples or morals at all.

Maybe he thought he was offering to testify under Oath, and he assumed Ms. Oath would be also willing to be grabbed by the pussy. So he figured, sure, totally willing. If she's a 10, he's willing. And he will TES-TI-FYYYY!

He's got a long list of things to do before he gets around to testifying under oath. You know, like finalize his taxes so they can be released and check to see if there is a recording system in the Oval Office. I'm sure there are a few more. I do think if he testifies under oath in an open session he WILL get the biggest TV audience ever so it will be very tempting for him. I personally hope it happens but was listening to a discussion about how Reagan testified via written answers to questions during the Iran Contra investigation. I could see Trump's lawyers pushing for this option if it is available to keep him from going off on tangents or rambling.

....and I have a bridge to sell. Bridge is not such a good word here in NJ.... but think it kept Christie out and he is tainted, DT is keeping him at arms length! Oh, but he did put Kushner's father in jail. It's definitely the second reason Kushner feels very strongly that his father went to jail BECAUSE he was persecuted by the prosecutors. Persecuted by the newspapers ( as if the Star ledger has THAT much power Jared ) And it was all Charles Kushner siblings faults that he went to jail. Yea, ok had nothing to do with actually breaking the law. Ok then You know, not because he broke the law. Excerpt from this article www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-the-sordid-case-behind-jared-kushners-grudge-against-chris-christie/article/2620427Five years later, in a 2014 interview with the New York real estate publication The Real Deal, Jared called his father's treatment "obviously unjust" and said the experience had soured him on an earlier ambition to become a prosecutor. "If you're convicting murderers, it's one thing," Jared said. "It's often fairly clear. When you get into things like white-collar crime, there are often a lot of nuances. Seeing my father's situation, I felt what happened was obviously unjust in terms of the way they pursued him." So Jared, was it unjust for your father to break the law?

What Jared's father did to his sister's husband was horrendous and Jared has no sympathy for his aunt?!?!?!? Tells a good tale!

No, Jared only had sympathy for the criminal who was 'unjustly' pursued.

He's so arrogant that he would have no problem lying under oath. So arrogant that he believes his own lies. So arrogant that he thinks the people are dumb enough to believe him.

I can't even begin to imagine what his testimony would be like. He finds it impossible to stay on topic.
Listening to him would be like playing a word association game. He'd be asked a question and go off on a tangent on one particular word until the next word that would ping his radar and off he's go down another avenue associated to that word.......and carry on until everyone else would say.......What the hell was that all about?

I actually think he has no idea what the truth is anymore. I'd agree. He's lied and done what he wants for so long that his definition of truth is whatever he says at that moment. Exactly. The man's word and by extension his oath, is therefore meaningless. Only valid until the next time he draws breath. Or speaks to a different adviser. Watches TV. Tweets. All of the above.

I predict he's going to say no, no tapes, but he knew Comey was leaking information, and he said that to bait Comey. As an aside, I do think Comey was a consistent "anonymous source" for a lot of info that's been reported.

I don't think for a minute there are tapes (and he's already said people are going to be very disappointed). I I'm wondering if he recorded their conversations on his phone (like he's been known to do during business transactions), and then has deleted them, or moved them somewhere else (another format), and that's why tapes was in quotation marks, and that he won't hand any over. I can't imagine he'd hand over anything self incriminating.
