I've got several batches of home-made vanilla brewing and plan on bottling and labeling sometime in the next couple of months. In October or so, I'll be putting together individual batches of brownie mix, along with batches of spiced tea mix. I already have the bottles and ribbon for the vanilla; bags and cloth bags for the brownie mix; and bakers string and scoops for the spiced tea mix. Just need to pick up the jars for the tea and make up some labels/tags for everything. As you can see, it's going to be a home-made Christmas, along with a few smaller gifts for all the adults. We'll probably splurge on the little ones, as usual.

Marianne - Let me give you my address! Those goodies sound awesome!
I can't think that far ahead, especially since it's so stinkin' HOT here still! I just want it to cool off first.

I'm in the process of making a black tulle Halloween wreath. I want to decorate in a Wizard of Oz theme so I'm working on finding things for that. I need some flying monkeys. I may have to crochet them. I've got a crochet Tardis hat started that will be a gift. Boot cuffs are on the list of gifts to make and I'm trying tweak a design for a ribbed cuff bracelet. I'm making some of these scenes in a jar. I bought the supplies at after Christmas sales last year. Christmas scene in a jarThat's all for now. I'm sure the list will lengthen as time go by.

I bought a few sets of coasters to alter. I have them stamped and embossed, just need to color the images with copics.

That ornament is cute! I love felt ornaments - they feel so old fashioned (in a good way!).

I'm probably going to make some survival kits for some people who spend an awful long time on the road working. I also want to finally make the fire starters that I have been hemming and hawing about for years but finally got inspired by Lexica in that holiday thread to actually do it.
I need to start thinking about Hallowe'en though. That's coming fast.

I have a fireplace with a ridiculously small mantle so I am going to enlarge my mantle (whether my dh likes it or not) in time for decorating. I want to put some cute stuff on there. Pumpkins, crows, candles a banner, etc. I am going for a Edger Allen Poe theme. Black and white. I'm excited. Now I just need a table saw, lol! My Halloween Pinterest Board

For years I've talked about drying the herbs in my garden and giving them as gifts, but this year, I've actually been working on it. DH paid to have my garden fenced this spring, some friends gave up a couple of weekends to lay ground fabric, spread mulch, and fill the already built raised beds with growing mix, and I've spent the spring and summer growing and drying or preserving everything I could. I have dried rosemary, oregano, stevia, tarragon, and basil, picked them off the stems and put them in herb bags. I have started Thai Basil Flower vinegar and it smells amazing. I'm going to start some Oregano flower vinegar tomorrow, if the bees will allow. I've started processing the second set of blooms on my Lavendar. Some I will dry for pillows, but some I will candy or crystallize. I have Lemon Balm tincture going thru its first steep in the pantry. I'll strain it and set it to its second steep this week. I'm not making too much this time, but it want my DD's to try it. Supposedly it's good for promoting rest and relieving anxiety stress; if the lemon balm doesn't work, the vodka might!
I plan to make some mixes, like Herbes de Provenance, as well as pretty packages of individual herbs.
Next year, I hope to have some more exotic herbs and spices, like ginger and lemon grass, to add to my gifts.

Loving both of those. I have started 10 dinner money envelope Advent Calendars. I must be mad. I have also sent for some Halloween papers and stamps, to make some treat bags for some little people I know. I've ordered a We R Memory Keepers gift bag punch board from Amazon UK for that. Am looking forward to using it. Polite request! It would be lovely if everyone would post photos of their projects when completed. .

Halloween wreath Thanksgiving/fall wreath Halloween apothecary jars
I have a BELIEVE sign that I want to decorate to match my Christmas decor.
I would like to make a wooden sign for each of my daughters for Christmas. I want to frame the sign with small photos of them with their dad, decoupage over them, and then have their dad's nickname for them in the center of the sign. The sign will be painted their favorite colors. I haven't quite worked it all out yet. I can 'see' it in my mind though. lol
I'm sure I'll be adding to the list the closer we get to Christmas.
I made this wreath for the 4th of July, but I ended up displaying it on a shelf inside. I was afraid it would get ruined out on the front door. lol

These are great ideas!
I realised last night that I have a large amount of Hallowe'en paper and embellishments so I think I am going to make a bunch of Hallowe'en cards to send out. I should look out for other paper crafts to use all this stuff up!

I am going to decorate some shadow boxes and printers trays to gives as gifts for family this year. (and a few to use for Thanksgivning and Christmas decor for here) There are some beautiful examples on Pinterest that I have been pinning. I also have to make Christmas Cards for my DMIL to mail out. I have been doing this for her for at least the last 10 years. My family is having a special family Thanksgiving the first weekend of November, so I am going to make lots of pictures so that I can make everyone a mini scrapbook to gift with the printer trays/shadow boxes.

Every year I buy more Christmas paper, more Christmas stamps and/or more Christmas dies, and I think I'm going to make Christmas cards. I make a few and then I'm done for the year. Last year, I gave up, spent $100 on photo Christmas cards, and then never got around to sending most of them out. (And they're really cute. I may send them out this year even though I stupidly put 2013 on them.) But just this once, I would like to actually get my Christmas cards made. Before next spring. And in the mail. Please. I'm desperate.

Annie, can you explain dinner money envelopes? ~Dinner Money Envelopes~. Not the prettiest things in the universe, but they hold a treat sized bar of chocolate, and bling up nicely with Christmas papers, stamps, cut outs etc.

I need to get off my ass and make some soap. I am thinking orange patchouli and maybe lavendar or lime coconut. I'd also like to make some grape jelly-found a great place where concord grapes grow wild

My sister and I are putting together a facebook page with crafty stuff we're going to sell. We'll be doing custom vinyl for sure, but I'm thinking of doing some sewing projects as well. I need to get to work planning those out and get cutting.

Oh, I am not up on pea etiquette:) 10.5 cups powered milk 1.5 cups powdered sugar 8 oz. coffee mate 16 oz. Quick Mix. Easiest gift ever. I make about five of these and put in large plastic containers. I think it takes about 1/3 cup for 8 oz of water. Sometimes I put in tiny marshmallows too.
