Well ... I can see 8 pairs right here at my desk -- that isn't even considering any of 3 totes ... so I guess I have a few pair! Most are Fiskars; I have the Holtz in both sizes.

6 pair of cheap deco scissors from back in the day,
1 pair of Cutterbees that are still packed up somewhere in my basement,
1 pair of household shears,
3 pair of childrens safety scissors that I'm using for any fussy cutting until my Cutterbees resurface,
and probably 5 pair of scissors and shears for sewing, but are we including fabric scissors?

I have the most. Two weeks ago, at an auction, I bought a box lot of scissors. There were 19 pair in the box, and I paid $2 for the whole shebang.
Add that to what I already have, and I have at minimum 30 pair.
My favorites are the ones I got for home economics class in eighth grade, a pair I got senior year in high school, and my nonstick Cutterbees.

2 pair of Cutterbees 1 pair Stampin' Up 1 pair of small scissors 1 pair of pinking 1 pair of large regular, which is down from my normal 6 (Why 6? because if someone needs scissor, where do they go? My craft room and then I end up with 1 pair of scissors until I track down all of the scissors throughout the house and put them back. Well, except for ds's pair which he asked if he could take a pair and keep them in his room) 1 Fiskar's rotary cutter for paper
In an closed cabinet I have 2 pair of fabric cutting scissors and 2 rotary cutters for fabric. They don't get left out.

My sister! She had lost a pair that she had been using in the living room. We all put our hands down the side of the sofas and chairs and found 17 pairs! This wasn't counting the scissors actually still in her craft room or in the kitchen!

No idea how many pair I own. Lots of different sizes and shapes. Most are No Name brand. I do have a TH pair, and an old pair of sewing scissors that stay with my sewing machine in the closet.
I DO know that when I NEED a pair of scissors most of them are hiding!

I count 11 pairs in my toolbox. Some are for paper, some for ribbon. I have a variety of paper scissors but my favourites would probably be 2 pairs of cutterbees.

and probably 5 pair of scissors and shears for sewing, but are we including fabric scissors? I didn't include any of my sewing scissors or general ones I keep in the house. But even so I'm clearly well behind some of the others on this thread in terms of the numbers of pairs in my house.

I just discovered that I need more. I didn't know that Tim Holtz has multiple sized scissors. I have the originals.
Not sure how many I have but the original Tonic ones, 3 pairs of the CTMH ones favorite for fussy cutting, several cutterbees. My latest pair is American crafts that I just love as they are a bit bigger.
I have a bunch of deco scissors, fabric and shears I probably have an additional 20 prs.

I only have two. Regular scissors and I think the others are Cutterbees; they are super sharp and I always misplace them.

I'm not sure I want to honestly answer this one! On my desk I have 3 pairs of cuticle scissors, one pair of tiny straight edges, 2 CM blue handles, 1 CM grey handles, 1 large and 1 small green Fiskar's nonstick. In the drawer under my desk are another 4 pairs of CMs, and in my tool drawer are 22 pairs of the CM blue handle scissors because they're my faves, an orange nonstick Fiskars, a plain cheap dollar store pair (shaped like Fiskars), a few more cuticle scissors with different types of blades, a set of 3 or 4 pink handled scissors in a zip case (Provocraft maybe?), a pink Fiskar's pair, and a pair of Cutterbees. In the top of my closet is a shoebox full of scissors I tried and didn't like. The lid barely shuts. They get thrown around the house as our household scissors get lost/worn out. I have a couple more pair in my travel bag. (I also use CM scissors to trim my bangs in the bathroom and I keep a pair in my glovebox.)
I'm not going to do the math. It's a lot. I have a lot of scissors, but I love them, they make me happy, and the CM ones fit my hands perfectly.

I couldn't tell you, but I have a lot of them. I know it have at least: 3 of the big Fiskars for fabric 6-7 of the small detail Fiskars a scissors for cutting rubber dies At least two pairs of Cutterbees a pair of Honeybees a micro point Fiskars at least a dozen kid's safety Fiskars two real pinking shears for fabric a metal shears for fabric a few random pairs of other brands of scissors picked up at trade shows 2-3 tiny scissors for cutting thread a CM scissors that a friend gave me at least five pairs of all purpose scissors (kitchen, laundry, the end table drawer by my living room chair and two bathrooms) I'm sure that's not all of them. I know there are more. We cleaned out DH's mom's house when she died and we easily recovered at least 30 pair in her two bedroom condo! It quickly became comical when every time we opened another drawer we fished out another 2-3 pairs.

I have a measly two pairs. One for broad cutting and one for fussy cutting. If we're just talking scrapbooking this is me too. I've had the same 2 pairs since I started scrapbooking in 2004 and honestly don't ever know what I would need more than 2 for lol. I have others in the house (for sewing, kitchen, outside etc) but I don't use those for scrapping.

I don't want to even count mine.
I have at least 30 decorative scissors, 4 paper crafting scissors, sewing scissors, multiple household scissors, and three folding scissors (two of which are the sharpest scissors I have ever found).

I have at least a dozen deco scissors that I rarely use but can't bring myself to part with, a large orange handled Fiskars, a cheapie Fiskars-like Hobby Lobby pair, a smaller pointy Fiskars (can't remember what they are called but I like them), a pair of kitchen utility shears and a good pair of Gingher embroidery scissors. I obviously need more!!!
