Good luck. I'm sure you're going to have a lot of stories for us. Looking forward to hearing them.

My oldest is 17 and the past few years have been... rough. He's a good kid, isn't out doing anything he shouldn't, it's just the attitude and how all of a sudden he knows more then me! I can't wait to like him again... Lol! Hopefully things will start to smooth out and that lovable lite boy makes an appearance again!
Good Luck! Teenagers aren't for the faint hearted!!

The days may go slow but the years will fly. I learned quickly to step back and give everyone time to regroup before jumping into arguments and to tell them often how proud I was of them. Knowing my kids have grown into young adults I really like is my greatest joy.

My son is a total dick. I miss my baby! He's not a bad kid, just his attitude completely sucks. He's 16. I keep reminding myself that this is all necessary in order for me to be able to let him leave the nest. If he was still like he was when he was little, if never be able to let go. DD is 19, she's completely sassy but I get a kick out of her. She did leave the nest for a while and I was fine with that, but she's back again. Sometimes I am very ready to have a mess-free house without a pair of lippy freeloaders in it. Lol! (Before anyone takes umbrage, I really DO love my kids and this is a completely tongue-in-cheek vent. I know this isn't 2peas anymore but I sure remember what sets off the peas ;p. )
