I've noticed the dies on Amazon. They are coming from same shops in China.

Yep - w/o the having to set up another email address account, having your personal data in another database, etc. Nothing wrong w/it. I just haven't taken the AliExpress plunge yet and have been happy to find similar items on Amazon sometimes.

Alright guys I just learned how to link by the help of friendly peas. I have this in my cart along with 40 other items. I'm not ready to hit the purchase button as I have to weed some of the things out. s.aliexpress.com/MJNBJVRR

So...in looking at a texture stamp set, I found a suggestion after I added to my cart that had a very distinctive feel to it. Sure enough...I ended up finding about 15-20 stamp sets from Stampin' Up and a ton of the Stamper's Anonymous ones. The Lawn Fawn die sets, My Favorite Things die sets and Memory Box die sets all have a ton listed with no picture, but appropriate item numbers for you to google to see what they look like...but they are abbreviated LF, MFT and MB. I'm starting to think that the significant increase in huge industry brands is a direct result of an increase in sales. I mean...if it wasn't selling, they wouldn't be making so much knock off product. I can't see this being good for companies because it's only going to get worse.
On the other hand, it's a HUGE incentive for companies to MAKE THINGS IN THE USA if they want copyright protections.

Waterfront high tide is stampin up. I bought that full price from stamp up. I bought 3 stamp sets that were SU copies -- and they were all 30-50% SMALLER than the SU stamps. And they are thin, flimsy, and don't work with dye inks -- I have to use Stazon to get a good image. I won't be buying any more stamps on Aliexpress. Wendy

Wendy I've only bought a couple of stamp sets from Ali and I would agree that they are thin and flimsy, certainly not the same quality as what we buy from reputable companies. All of my stamps stamp well, but maybe I just got lucky. I am hesitant to purchase stamps from Ali because of this, but I suppose if its a set that I know I won't use a lot, for just a few dollars I'll probably still buy it. If its one I know I'll use a lot, I'll pass and buy it at full price.

A bit off topic, but has anyone bought craft items in bulk from there? I would like to buy things like Popsicle sticks, pompoms, small balls, pipe cleaners, glass rocks and pebbles. (like you see in vases at weddings sometimes), seasonal items like gold coins for St. Patrick's Day and jingle bells for Christmas, and smaller plastic toys.
I make sensory bins for my son (they are popular with preschoolers) and it's one of the few things he plays with. I'm looking for items with lots of texture too.
I have bought things from Dollar Tree, but the filler items that take up the most space in the bin can add up when the bags are small.
Things are listed quite strange on Aliexpress. I was curious if someone has purchased these items and can point me in the right direction of how to search.

refugeepea I haven't bought in large quantities but found some white pebbles on AE just by searching for pebbles - and I just had a quick look and if you put in pompom, popsicle stick, pipe cleaner etc you should get a lot of hits. Eg This is searching pipe cleaner in arts and crafts: Pipe cleaner

Ha, I recognise those layered hearts... Found these zodiac stamp sets and they look very good. Call me a negative skeptic but I'm guessing they're not original Chinese AE vendor designs? Anyone recognise them?

I saw something like that quite some time ago. I contacted the shop and asked if they could make the "wonky stitched" dies that were new at the time (and now readily available on Ali). They can definitely do it, but they are looking for large quantities - no less than 200 I believe from this particular seller.
