I love photography. I do portraits for a living, but wildlife on my own time. I've even arranged out vacation to coincide with seeing birds (i.e. puffins, gannets, loons). I won an award for one of my puffin photos which was very exciting.
I also spend a lot of time honing my photography skills with books and online websites and I also belong to a photo club.
I love to read, travel, and work on my family genealogy. At one time I thought about becoming a professional genealogist.
I used to hand quilt, cross stitch, draw and write stories but I spend too much time on the computer or with my camera to do these anymore.
I never really got into paper scrapbooking although I bought a lot of paper! I ended up giving it to my friend and doing digi scrapbooking instead. I love putting together photobooks of our trips and want to do some of my wildlife photos. I have been making calendars and they have been very popular.

I love to scrapbook, make mini albums/TN and cards. I love to read. I can make handmade baskets and toll paint but haven't done either one of these in awhile. I love to go to craft shows, antique stores and craft stores to decorate my home with. And I help my husband with woodworking projects.

Once upon a time, I used to scrapbook. I don't do that anymore. Over the past 2 years I've become an avid knitter and it's something I think about constantly even when I'm not doing it! I also enjoy reading (though it's really taken a back seat since I started knitting) and cooking. I am trying a new recipe for green mac & cheese as we speak (spinach & parsley sauce).

I run, bike and swim. It's hard to fit it in next to work and family. Something had to be sacrificed, and for me that was watching tv. Yesterday I bought myself a fixie. Now I definitely can't wait to go biking tonight

My hobbies are reading and scrapbooking.
I read every single day.
Scrapbooking I try to squeeze in here and there.

i like to do too many things and there is never enough time. Recently, I've been crocheting, gardening, exercising and hiking. I really want to start quilting but I'm a novice sewer. I did take a beginner sewing course and I'm taking the second course next month. Maybe next year I'll start a simple quilt. Other hobbies that I love- camping, canoeing/kayaking, photography, travel and reading.
People tell me that once I retire, I'll be so bored. I have a huge list of things that I love to do and that I want to try.

My absolute favorite past-time is travel. I have more time for it than money, but I go every chance I get.
I also love to prepare new recipes, explore new cuisines, and plan dinner parties.
I workout regularly, but don't consider that a hobby as much as a necessity.
Other than that, I do a lot of projects around the house. I like to rearrange, redecorate, reorganize - anything along those lines.

Scrapbooking/cardmaking - not as much time as I'd like, so I usually just make cards as needed. Dog showing/training - I do more training then showing as we are total newbies. Just signed up for another 6 week obedience session starting next week. Learning about dog training Dog scootering - can only do fall thru spring due to the heat. I can't wait until fall for this, it will be our first full season. Camping - this is the one that I have the least amount of time for as I need to take days off to do it. We like to camp a minimum of 3 or 4 days. Biking and now getting healthy - we do crossfit at work, I try to bike once or twice a week. I have been pretty good about making time for this. What is dog scootering? I'd love to learn about dog training.

My hobbies are mixed media art journaling, art swaps with friends, painting, sewing altered garments, zentangles, Photoshop, and digital scrapping.
I'm scaling down my business to retire, but most of my time is spent either with work, babysitting grandsons, or visiting with friends.

I like to scrapbook, crochet, and read. I wish I had more time for my hobbies, but I do feel like I have a good balance. I wish I could work 4 days a week and be off 3 days a week. I feel like that would be a perfect work/life balance.

Hobbies oh yes I have a few - scrapping, reading, ribbon embroidery, quilting are my main ones.
I am retired with just DH and I home with our little dog - I never seem to have time to do much of any of these these days. I do go out for the quilting so that does get some attention but there are other times when nothing gets done.
I did not do all these things when I was at work - even if I had had the interest with two children at home and everything else there was not enough hours in the day.
Those that work and have children at home must have wonderful time management to be able to get to spend the time to enjoy their creative time.

I'm a fused glass hobbiest. Problem is, I'm in Florida with a hurricane staring me in the face and all my glass and kilns are up in Alabama. That sounds ok, but I recently had a portable building put in down here to use as a studio and it could be swept away by this time next week. But anyway, I love melting glass. I tried mosaic but it's too time consuming. Fusing, they way I do it, is much simpler and the results are faster than doing mosaic.

I enjoy sewing, quilting, painting furniture and home decorating. I am semi retired and live alone. I try to do my crafts on my days off and weekends. I recently decided to paint all my trim upstairs so I know that will eat into my "me" time

Drumming! I try to drum every night. Feeling frustrated? Feels really good to hit the skins to some loud music. I play rock but would love to branch out to jazz. Also mixed media art.

I also play drums, though not actively any more. I grew up with two brothers in marching band and they taught me rudiments so they could practice street beats with me playing different parts. I eventually took lessons to read percussion music and I loved to play jazz.

I love to sew doll clothes (18 inch dolls) and make quilts. I am disabled and can't work, so my time is mostly free. I am going to go to craft fairs with my youngest DD, who loves to crochet, and try to sell a few things. I have so many quilts and more doll clothes than my DGD would ever think of playing with.

I'm trying, yet once again, to be a gardener. I've never been successful at it, probably because I don't like to put my hands in dirt. But I'm determined to try again, here in Florida. DH planted 5 caladiums for me and a hibiscus. Now I've planted 4 little iveys in a pot. It's a start!

I read and cross stitch. Once I get home from work and dinner is done and cleaned up, the evening is mine. Lately I've been averaging about 3 hrs a night to stitch with more on the weekends. It's just hubby and I. I usually read a few chapters before I head to bed each night. I have big plans though this weekend to spend it outside with my book.

It used to be scrapbooking and card making, I even had my own scrapbook room stocked nicely. Then I got sick, cancer struck and even more illness just after. My room has been dismantled as all my cabinets were needed in our rental property. My stock is all boxed and sitting in the corners of the room. I try not to go up there as it's depressing. Some day I need to get rid of all that stuff though.
Now my favorite hobby is just enjoying a good movie every chance I get.
