Um - that Document paper? On sale at Studio Calico for .49! Seems kind of nervy to put a sale product in a special kit with a hefty price tag, doesn't it? WTF? I knew I’d seen it recently. This kit is a f’ing joke. Maybe at $30 but no not a dime more. Those cork numbers were on clearance not long ago. I bought a set (though I do wish I’d picked up another set). Edited: I looked and bought the cork numbers in 10/18 for $2.50 a set at SC. I’m thinking this ‘kit’ was more about clearing out leftovers at SC vs new product. Same with those stamps set that were brought back.

But I really love how Ali’s fan girls are going nuts for 12x12. They’re like maybe they’ll do more kits like this! Um, yeah they already decided that no one is doing 12x12 anymore and this was just a ploy to unload old crap on you that you weren’t buying when it was on clearance. Here’s your sucker sign.

More plastic words from Ali for DD. They are on the DD Instagram but I’m not sure how to link from my phone.

Those numbers are huge. Maybe I'll just cut my own with my Cameo and stick a few layers together for some dimension.

Those big numbers better be an add-on... I think someone asked on the post and they are. Pretty much everything they're showing off right now are add-ons.

I like the big numbers. Probably won’t like the price. I think we should all take a guess what the price will be. Maybe sleepingbooty will choose a perfect gif to present the person who guesses closest? Do we know how many numbers?

Maybe sleepingbooty will choose a perfect gif to present the person who guesses closest? Gif galore? Late-night admission: I don't see the fuss about the oversized white wood veneer 2 and 5... It just looks to me like it'll be adding a lot of extra thickness/bulk and a lot of lignin (AKA acid in the making) to your album. Welp. I bet most will mount these on a transparency sheet over (a) large photo(s) taking up a spread.

I would like oversized numbers printed on a transparency better, but I definitely don’t like the wood ones. As over priced as her transparencies are I can’t imagine how much they will cost.

I bet most will mount these on a transparency sheet over (a) large photo(s) taking up a spread. I'm with you. I've not long ago finished my 2018 album and it is waaaaayyyyyy too thick (it doesn't close properly). So this year I'll be looking for much less dimension. I also have to recognise that while I like the idea of enlarged numbers, in reality they just don't work for me. Case in point: I purchased the giant number stamp from Ali last year and loved it. I tried to use them in three different spreads in my album and just couldn't settle on anything I was happy with.

Very ballsy to put recently clearanced/currently sale priced items into an expensive "special" kit. I'm assuming this kit is aimed at all those new fangirls AE is reaching with her new efforts. People who don't know the history of these items and the bottomless pit that is the SC warehouse, and who don't already have everything in their stash from the last few go-rounds. I guess those people are also not expected to have a sense of what paper and embellishments are worth.

It’s not a terrible idea to recombine kit pieces and addons that are still laying around or recently found into a kit and market to newer customers, but the price is outrageous (and would be even if it included a stamp) and as most of you’ve said, longer-term SC and AE subbers already have this in their stash. Hard pass from me.

I’m sure I’m alone in this but those ginormous rubber pieces are not my cup of tea. Like that’s all that would fit on a page. Bigger is not always better. How about a pack of 50 little enamel dots? Why the $25 dollar rubber? Oh duh. The price.

julie5 Im not a fan of them either. They are just too bulky for e. I did like last years '25' but it was too pricey so I made my own.

Hello ladies, a quick Q. Has anyone tried AE page protectors? I’m trying to find my new like in protectors after 7paper Probably 99% of those posting in this thread have tried the AE/SC page protectors. If you liked 7paper, you're in luck: these are better quality for sure (all my 7paper PPs are crappy and flimsy in my opinion). However, they are a tight fit. Most Peas don't seem to mind this at all. There have been production issues with PP packs at AE/SC and people have expressed issues with some they ordered or that came with new albums recently. A word of caution. The holes won't line up with old 7paper albums, whether for the 6x8 or 9x12 format.

Yeah, these ginormous embellishments Ali is posting are not for me. Bigger isn’t always better, and you know they are going to be CRAZY expensive.

I dont even see how the colour of this ornament goes with the rest of the line - it looks more tropical to me ...maybe they are doing a kit again for the southern hemisphere?

Thank you so much for your reply, I don’t have any more albums from 7paper although I’m still looking for the golden one and a solid black one to complete my set. i am now looks for a new set and thought maybe aAE since her albums are thick and the pp have many options with 6x8
