I am looking for a new collection to use to scrapbook my vacation, so I was looking in Ali's shop to see what she had. Does anyone know if she will have a new travel kit this spring? I think it's usually in the summertime, but she has mentioned that there will be another travel release this year.

Not sure I want to wait that long for the collection when I am itching to scrapbook the vacation now.

Thats the one from last year that I used for another trip. I think I've decided to shop my stash and use all the leftovers from previous travel collections. The colors won't be 100% the same, but close enough.

So I'm not interested in this new project Ali is doing this week, but kuddos to those who are, especially if it sparks something in your memory keeping or story telling...just please keep your bare feet pictures off of FB! Nobody needs to see that, least of all on a Monday morning...

There is a sneak of the "you" story kit on Ali's instagram in her feet photo. It's very pastel, but I really like what I can see so far!

Meh, feet don't bother me and who am I to tell people what to post on their social media? Its been fun to see a variety of shots instead of the usual poses.

Kind of have to laugh at how upsetting bare feet are to Americans. Is it a remnant of puritanism? I was merely bored by the flux of feet and shoes on IG. I'm looking forward to the wave of Victorian post-mortem photography later in the week for the "eyes closed" theme. Those self-portraits never look good or not staged. They won't get better with age either. But hey ho, I'll be given a reason to critique eyeshadow blending techniques so bring it on!

I’ve managed to catch an unstaged picture of myself with my eyes closed when I don’t realize which camera is open. but I don’t usually put those in the Internet because the usually feature up my nostrils lol Feet don’t usually bother me. Hands are going to be interesting as you frequently need one hand to snap the picture

Add-on for You/March SBTM Feels like a belated Valentine's Day kit I agree. The new theme is 'you' - but this really only hits on the 'love you' direction on the word.

I don’t love the colors...too muted, but I like all of these. Something different. Glad to not see any rubber pieces. The prices will probably be too silly to purchase anything tho.

I'll be interested to see what the photo frames are made of...plastic or vellum and their price.
The colors look like they'd work for my Disney album and being 3x4 means they're easy to use.
I also like the half circles, but that'll depend on their actual size and what is in the kit. But I'll guess they're small and will cost more than $6

Some people shudder at the word “moist” or hate spiders. I can’t speak for others, but for me, it’s all about the way they look and how they often are the origins of smell.

Nothing to do with being prudish. Feet are ugly. Always. Period. I maybe give pause to little baby feet or chubby toddler feet, after that nope. I don't care if you primp, polish, exfoliate, pedicure or whatever...I don't want to see your feet. The thing that kills me most is when women judge other women because their sandal feet aren't pedicured. As if that matters or helps in the slightest. Gross.

Feet are just another body part to me. I don't see what's gross or ugly about them. But I also don't see much of a point of making them part of a self-portrait week project. Today's hands theme is proving to be just as boring and uninspired. I'm disappointed the women doing this challenge are solely focusing on those body parts instead of bringing in more of the body while making feet or hands the focal point. Oh well. I don't know why I was hoping for this to be more artistic than it is turning out to be.

I’m kind of digging those frames. I hope they’re plastic. And I also like the size. The fabric tabs also interest me. Depends on size.
I’ve been on an Instagram break since October so I forgot Ali’s challenge was this week. I popped on and the first post I saw when I opened the app was the headshot of Ali. I read her caption. It made me teary-eyed. I thought it was very touching. Then I clicked on the hashtag and saw all the beautiful faces. It really made me smile.

I love the pieces of us prompts. I agree some of the repetitiveness of the poses is kind of meh but I’m having fun being inspired by it. I for sure am staging self portraits versus documenting my life.
I did a self portrait project for 100 days last year and really liked it. I noticed I found the beauty in myself and stopped being so damn critical. I also really liked trying new out of the normal box things.

Because there are a lot of creative things to do with these prompts and people being crafters you'd think we were at least a little creative. Today's eye's closed is the worst so far.

Agreed not that I did any thing creative today, at least other days I took the opportunity to document some of the things my hands & feet have to do most days so while not photographically creative it was a part of my documenting that I hadn’t really thought of. This prompt is just meh to me. I don’t know what to do with it

I am taking a week long break from IG. I cannot stand all the pictures of feet, and faces and and and .....it feels like sheeplies following AE. If you want to take a pic ok but then show me it in a layout or something or keep it to yourself. I didn't mind AEs post, I like that she puts out different ideas for people to generate ideas/try, but I just don't need to see everyone else copy her. and sleepingbooty the distaste towards feet, at least for me, came from watching (the actor that used to play Dr Who ) sucking the feet/or having his feet sucked, by actor, Geraldine something, when I was young (living in UK). but yeah keep your bare feet off IG, thank you

You can mute Ali’s account for the week and not have to see her posts or her stories of all the re-posts.
I use the mute option frequently during election season 😂
