What shoes do you wear with leggings? In warm weather I wear sandals or flip flops. I have a lot of foot pain plus plantas fascititis so I end up wearing clunky Mary Jane style shoes by Alegria. Anyone have any other suggestions? I like to wear clog style shoes but they look weird to me with leggings.

If i'm wearing leggings I look like a slob so I generally just throw on a pair of uggs.
My look for the day can best be described as 'I've given up on life" if I've got leggings on.
How about a pair of tall boots? I see that a lot around here.

I wear comfortable tall boots and also something like this www.sandler.com.au/festival.html#185=145 mine are less bulky than this and the metallic is slightly less shiny. My dd talked me into buying them and I didn't think I'd wear them much but I do and they look really good with leggings. I'm always getting comments on them.

Tall boots or flats.
Clogs scream old lady.

Ballet flats for dressy, Keds or flip flops for casual. The only boots I own are clunky winter boots for trudging around in the cold and snow.

Today at work I wore leggings, a tunic, and a pair of black suede loafers. They are Born brand and comfy for my old feet. Sometimes booties. I personally don't like tall boots on me.

With leggings? I wear any old shoes: ballet flats, Danskos ( myshelly, you callin' me an old lady? ), booties, moccasins... It matters more what style of top I have on - I match the shoes to that style.

Plain ballet flats or vans. Dependent on the tunic or top I'm wearing with them.

Tall boots or flats. Clogs scream old lady. I 100% agree but unfortunately I have super wide calves and even wide calf boots don't fit usually. And flats are too thin soled and well, flat, so they make my foot ache. I could try Vans though. I'm 5' tall and tall boots go up well past my knees 😜

Boots or booties. Ballet flats look nice too, but I wear those to work with dresses so much that I get sick of them.

I did find some tall boots from Simply Be that are extra curvy plus that fit me. And they are reasonable priced.

Tall boots or flats. Clogs scream old lady. Guess I'm an old lady because I love my Dansko clogs. I usually wear flip flops with leggings though. I wear flip flops pretty much anytime I'm not working.

Depends on the leggings and what I'm wearing them with. Usually flats, or booties in the winter. Maybe knee high boots. I've recently discovered the joy of those Dr. Scholl's thin gel insoles in my ballet flats. Much less foot/knee/back pain.
But I also have no problem with clogs. Maybe they just scream 'someone who works on their feet all day for a living.' YMMV.

If I'm wearing leggings I generally have in a hoodie or other sweatshirt and wear tennis shoes.

In the cold months I wear riding boots or ankle boots (I have several different types/styles). It really depends on what top I am wearing. I try my best to look "current" when I walk out the door.

Tall boots or flats. Clogs scream old lady. Indeed they do. I don't really see people wearing leggings anymore. Save

I love the look of boots with leggings, but I don't own any boots so that's out for me. I have a very basic pair of flats that I usually wear with leggings -- they're very sleek and simple with no ornamentation, and for some reason, I like this look best with leggings.

I've had this challenge, too and like you summer is easier with sandals. For winter I do boots. For fall, I finally found some loafers that fit me across the ball of the foot - Coach on sale at Steinmart. They aren't for a lot of walking as they have no support, just found a more supportive pair at a consignment shop so I'm giving those a try. I gave up on ballet flats because of the lack of support and they never completely cover my toes. People who make ballet flats should realize that you can't just add length in the middle of the shoe for larger sizes.
Shoes are my nemesis and I often choose clothes from the feet up working first with what shoes are going to be comfortable. Good luck, I hope you find shoes that work for you.

Clogs, of the open back, Swedish style are adorable with leggings. Do a quick image search. Some cute looks. I agree the Dansko sort can look matronly but Dansko is not the sum total of clogs. Think Hannah Anderson look.

I answered yesterday too, but today I am wearing leggings, a tunic, and Clarks WaveRun casual shoes in black. These are extremely comfortable shoes for a day I anticipate being on my feet until 9pm tonight.

I have a lot of foot and ankle issues too, but have found that Sperry's work well with my feet and look good with Leggings. Try them!

Footwear depends on what is paired with the leggings. For example, I wear clogs with leggings, a basic tee-shirt, & casual cardigan. If I change to a dressier shirt &/or blazer, I wear oxford mules. Athletic sneakers, slides, or colorful Converse are worn with leggings, a tank top, & lightweight/running jacket.

There are lots of cute short boots out this fall (booties, I guess, but I hate that word.) I got a couple pair at Shoe Carnival the other day to wear with slim-leg pants. They have maybe a 1" heel. Someday it will get cool enough to wear them (please God.) (I feel your pain re tall boots...I am also 5' tall with chubby legs. Not a look I can pull off, so I was happy to see all the short boots out this year.)
