HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!! I need y'alls help. I have figured out a way to scrap all of the beautiful cards we got this year . I took a picture...well several of our display. Now I want to enter all the Pea Names into Wordle and create a page. This way I can have the cards and everyone's name. I need help identifying the Pea names for the cards below. You can PM me or post the " Green checked Merry Christmas is ..." Y'all will get a kick out of this, as I was explaining what I was doing hubby said...They didn't sign their Pea name? Love that he knows this. Thank you to everyone who help spread joy across our Pea World!!!

Thank you for hosting again this year! It's become one of my favorite holiday traditions. We don't have family so getting an influx of cards brings my family and I so much joy. I have quite the collection of cards from previous years that we display, too. ❤️

I am so looking forward to this again this year. I have a question regarding the US Postal service. I am going to be in Florida, near Fort Meyers, December 16-21. If I mail from there on the 16th or 17th will it get to most US peas before Christmas. I usually send from Ottawa, Canada right around December 1st or earlier to make sure they arrive before Christmas. Is Dec 17th cutting it too close? for Christmas delivery?

It should get to all US peas in time for Christmas. It usually only takes a couple of days for my cards to get delivered, but it might take a few days longer because of the holiday. You should be fine sending them then.

I live just south of there in Naples. You should have no trouble with anything you mail out at the beginning of your stay. The 21st may be pushing it. It takes 4-5 days when I mail a letter sized envelope to NY.

Honestly, even if it was cutting it too close and cards were late, I wouldn't mind getting one after Christmas. I always display cards for a at least a week or more after Christmas. Late cards would just extend the mailbox fun. So my question is about making them or buying them. I've been thinking I might like to participate this year. But there is no way in heck that I'm making that many cards. I've never made a card in my life, lol. I see that the instructions say that homemade or bought are both fine, but realistically do a lot of people buy them? Because if the majority are home made I might not do it.

Every year I plan on making them but.... the first year I mailed 100, I made 25. Last year I mailed 75 , I made 0. This year I am hoping to mail to everyone but I am making some big projects as gifts for Christmas so I will again be buying all, making none. The handmade ones I receive are beautiful but I LOVE them all bought or made.

Last year, I received about 80 or so cards and there were a good mixture of store bought cards and handmade ones. To answer your question, I think store bought cards are perfectly fine to send! I sent to everyone and I handmade all my cards. Card making is a hobby of mines and I make cards throughout the entire year. Certainly understand if people don't have time to make cards or if card making is not their thing. It's a busy time of year. I loved receiving all the cards (store bought or handmade)!

Ok ladies, a sweet Pea sent me a question...well maybe more of an informational message. She said last year she put a reminder in her phone to sign up as the year before she forgot to. The sign ups will open October 1st.... Homemade or store bought, it dose not matter. Any card is a welcomed card....some of my favorites have been store bought and some have been homemade. But they ALL have been loved. Mailing cards state side (USA) I believe that as long as they are mailed before the 20th...Peas should get them. Even if they don't get them before the holidays who cares? The point is to have fun and mail Joy! Let the planning and making begin;)

I was hoping to have all my cards made before we even had the sign up this year, but you know how life seems to get in the way sometimes. I am still hoping to have time to make them but last year, the ones I sent were store bought and I received about 50/50 homemade and store bought and I loved them all!!
Last year was my first year participating and I am looking forward to it again this year.
