I love when Hillary supporters (or Democrats) throw around the word "hypocricy" like they've got the moral high ground on integrity and that they and their party never exhibit that quality. The really funny part is that some of you actually believe that. Neither party does have the moral high ground. Currently the worst offender is the Republicans because...Trump. His history of corruption (yep Democrats have that covered too), BUT he's the president of our country so it's his turn to be treated like shit and for good reasons. It's what Americans do. Next time a Democrat is elected the Republicans will do more bitching. God bless America. In your opinion, the worst offender is the Republicans. I don't think so. However, you're right; the guy in office gets the shit; warranted or not. And yes, the wheel goes round and round.

You're just an ass. Can't stop yourself from taking personal digs can you? But then again, it's pretty par for the course for you. And to think that cute little baby has you for a role model. Poor thing. Careful, your MO is showing. By calling her an ass? I've seen far worse here. Far worse. And I wasn't the one who made things personal digs here. She comes into many posts of mine and instead of dealing with the topic, feels compelled to make negative digs at me. She is an ass.

That's not allowed? here's my quote "And to think that cute little baby has you for a role model." Show me where that sentence says anything negative about the child?

not sure what this has to do with our "system of government" but pretty par for the course for you You're just an ass. Can't stop yourself from taking personal digs can you? Mentioning a poster's children in an attempt to insult is Lauren 101. A leopard can't change its spots and some witches won't change their brooms.

The endorsement deal ending has nothing to do with our system of government. He chose to kneel a business chose not to renew his contract. We are a capitalist society. So yes, it does have everything to do with our system of government. The athlete chose to "speak" and the business chose to severe it's ties with him based on that. Capitalism at work. Capitalism isn't a form of government, it's an economic system that can be paired with a variety of types of government. Our government is a representative democracy. So the outcome is an outcome of the economic system.

I called her baby "poor" because she's the baby's roll model. I called the baby, itself, cute.
Last time I'll explain it. Take it or leave it but it's all you'll get.

If it is Lauren she is the only poster who has consistently misspelled “hypocrisy” for over a decade now. Considering how much Lauren did/does love to use that word, I would think eventually she’d learn how to spell it.
I also will second that Capitalism is not a form of government. What a weird thing to assert. Especially from someone who went to college.

The name is just too glaringly obvious to make me think it's actually her, but everything else fits including the misspellings of certain words, the MO, the baiting-pretending-to-ask-a-sincere-question posts, and the stance on issues in general. And even if it isn't, I've seen enough to know I'm uninterested in engaging.

I agree with the previous couple of posters about the clues, similarity in style, views espoused and so forth. When this new Pea and the other one with a peaname strongly associated with L appeared, I thought she was indeed back. If it isn't L, though, are we saying we are being expertly trolled by someone who wants us to think s/he is L?

She said "currently" the worst offender is the Republicans. She didn't make a blanket statement that always the worse offenders are Republicans. Currently the Republicans are in the hot seat because there's trump and there are all those Republicans in Congress. That's the way it is. Of course we're going to criticize them, when the situation warrants it. And fyi you've spelled "hypocrisy" wrong. (eta: Just finished reading the last couple of pages and I see others have pointed that out...)

Why do you people care so much whether or not I'm Lauren? Why not just deal with the poster who is now posting? Does it make a difference if what is being said is said by Lauren or someone else? Will you respond differently? If so, then you're everything you claim Lauren is. If not, then all of this time you spend of guessing who I am is wasted time as it's irrelevant.

I, on the otherhand, do not enjoy interacting with you so from now on I won't. Have fun.

Because Lauren had (has) an MO, and I have no interest feeding trolls or in wasting my time participating in mind $uckery. Yes. And there is more. Small warning- like a poster on the NFL thread, I am on the strong meds today, so I might be a little "off" or unclear here Let us imagine, just for the purpose of argument, I am pea'ing alongside a pea who is the person described in some or all of the following sets of circumstances: 1. A person hurt a member of my family. More correctly, they killed them in a car accident by driving under the influence, then evaded responsibility by hiring a really great legal team and keeping previous DUI's out of court until it was too late. 2. A person accepted money from my DH and I for 3 tickets on a cruise: 2 for us and 1 for her own Mom. The gift was supposed to be anonymous. When the Mom pulled out we were trashed by the person and other parts of her family for "making the Mom think they had money". We were not only outed but blamed for pulling out ourselves (which we did, legally and before the deadline according to cruise line rules; we no longer wanted anything to do with these lovely people, much less to vacay with them) our names were trashed for "ruining the profitability of the trip" by canceling. 3. Insert any old pea grievance/s here- things which hurt the pea. Reporting a pea to her employers. Disparaging a pea's kids. Throwing shade at a pea who was grieving for her Mother, while disparaging that Mother. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. Let us also imagine that the "villain" in 1, 2 or 3 holds EXACTLY the same views, political or otherwise, as me. That doesn't make me want to deal with them! Aside from the trolling and mind $uckery, surely any pea has a right to know who they suspect they are dealing with and to choose to avoid them like the plague? That is why we speculate about L and others possibly coming back using alters.

Part of the problem is that people like you are under the impression that you "know" anybody you deal with on the internet. Unless you've actually met the person, you do not "know" them nor can you claim to know how to deal with them or whether or not you want to deal with them.
Hence, my point; if you don't like what I, lovetocolor, posts, then do not engage with me or block me or whatever. It doesn't matter whether I am Lauren or Sarah or Kim or anyone else.
ETA...no one has a "right" to know anything about anyone on a message board. (other than perhaps the Administrators of the site)
