After drooling over a friend's kits, I took the plunge and subscribed yesterday. So excited to get an email already that my kit is being shipped!

Anybody know when Kelly's next sale is taking place? Asking for a friend.

I just got my TN kit today and I really like it. But the papers do seem really smooth and slick, like there’s an overlay on them that will make it hard to write with a normal gel pen.
Is this the case?

Is this the case? Yes, that is how her cards are. If you write on them, you have to be careful not to smudge until they completely dry. I don't use gel pens on them, but it's also partly why the stickers you place on them will pull up some color if you remove it.

pancakes I have learned not to pencil in my journaling or guidelines on KP cards because I always smudge when I erase even after hitting it with a heat gun. Just so you know.

I have a laser printer at home and while the colors are more vibrant, the ink sits on top of the paper.

Anyone see the sneaks on insta today? There's going to be an extra TN kit this month. Odds are 99% I'm going to want it. I've been loving the LLP designs. http://instagram.com/p/BhuL7amnXJY

I haven't purchased a KP kit but I did order five sheets of alphas from her shop tonight! I didn't realize she sold her alphas separately. I especially love the small navy alpha set and the white larger alphas.

I'm hoping the Do Your Thing stamp is a separate shop item, and not part of the monthly TN kit. That would be at least the 3rd TN kit in a row not designed by KP.

Looking at the comments and replies from @kellypurkeyshop, it's definitely a separate shop item: "both stamp sets pictured are not included in kits" The papers from the regular TN kit definitely look like KP designs. I'm in love with both the Do Your Thing stamp set and the Rest & Relax one. Tina's killing it at Kelly's. God save my bank account (especially for international shipping). https://www.instagram.com/p/Bhj1NiKnRgl

The alphas are what I stocked up on. http://instagram.com/p/BhAELFiDg1n

I love her alphas as well. I love the simple font, the size and the colors. I stocked up on her sale as well, they really are perfect.
I am hoping she will eventually offer a similar style in lowercase.

Her alphas are perfection. I love the crayon blue and true red especially. It's so hard to find those colors.

I don't mind one or two guest designers, but I prefer KP's aesthetic for the most part.

Of course I missed out on 30% off!
I'm still excited to receive my package from her! The only other KP product I have ordered directly from her is her Gilmore Girls stamp set and I love it... even if I haven't used it yet.

I can’t find who asked, but someone was asking about the grey mini alphas, that they appeared too light. It looks like KP has corrected this. I ordered more grey alphas from the sale and I just compared them with the ones I already had. The new ones I got are a lot darker and a nicer grey than the original grey ones I ordered months ago.

I am doing some organizing in my house, and I discovered where I put all of my KP supplies. I bought out 5 of the mystery kits and 10 of the mystery stamp bundles on Black Friday, and I'm realizing I have duplicates of all of the kits and a few of the stamps. I plan on keeping some of the kit cards (as well as most of the alphabets), but I'd like to sell some of the duplicate stamps and a few of the cards.
Do you think $9 (+ shipping) for each 4x6 stamp is a fair price?
What about for cards? It will probably be combinations of several kits, so should I have a stack of 3x5 and a stack of 4x6? If I have a bunch, should I break them up by colors?
Thanks for your thoughts/help!

Do you think $9 (+ shipping) for each 4x6 stamp is a fair price? Definitely. If you're willing to ship internationally and bundle, you'll probably found a (few) buyer(s) on here since KP's international shipping is quite high ($15 per kit). For the cards: it depends on how many you've got to sell. But I wouldn't separate 4x6 from 3x4. I'd keep them bundled by original kits/colours used/themes.

I think I'll use it more than one designed by Tina - I find her handwriting font to be limiting/something that will be dated after a while.

I've liked some of the sneaks, but I only sub to the main kit, so I won't be "stuck" with the others.
I really hope that KP going to Universal means more Harry Potter and/or Fantastic Beasts stamps.

Real talk: her creative team does a great job, but nothing actually inspires me like Kelly's own layouts. It makes me sad she doesn't share layouts or do process videos anymore. Her and Jamaica makes are the only crafters that make me want to literally take notes on their layouts.

I do appreciate, though, that the CT is producing a lot...it’s nice to have things to look at for the products that you sub to.

She had an IG story up a few weeks back in which she showed a 3x8 album with Jamaica Makes covers in which she had tucked a few pictures. Paraphrasing the message she typed on top of it: something along the lines of finally doing some documenting and that just putting a few photos in counts as documenting, right? She struggled with PL in early 2017, did a few weeks and then fell off the cliff. I both get KP's issue with finding PL mojo when you've been at it for years and find it sad since this is what her brand is built on.

It totally makes sense that when your hobby becomes your job its not as fun and more of a burden. I do think theres something special about the designer of the products showing how they intended them to be used.
