I am so frustrated. I updated a couple of weeks ago to IOS 11 when it asked if I wanted to update. I should have said no like I usually do because I have had nothing but problems. Anyway, three times now my phone locks up. I can't get into any app or do anything. I can't even turn it off. I am now trying to update to IOS 11.02 but it says it can't even update. I really don't want to drive all the way over to the store for help. Any ideas? My neighbor has had similar issues since updating but she didn't know how to fix it. BTW, I have a Apple 7 Plus. Thanks!

I am having issues as well. Currently with my Fitbit not syncing. I am trying to figure out how to uninstall 11 and get back my 10. I may have to drive to Apple (one hour each way) if I can't figure this out. So frustrating....

Oh dear, polly91. I don't want to drive 20 minutes to get help. You have an hour! I won't complain. This is really one of the worst updates in a long while.

My email freezes and crashes at least 3 times per day since the update. I am very frustrated.

I haven't had any issues with the phone freezing or similar, but it totally crashed my battery life. I have read that this is a known issue, and checked all the suggestions about what to turn off to help, but it hasn't helped so far. I am on an iPhone 6.

Dumb me upgraded, when usually I wait awhile.
I had my settings such that my text was larger. It mostly is not working well with the upgrade.
And my mail list? Looking awful. Whereas previously each mail took up just one line in the overall list, now it takes 3. I hate it.
I truly hate the upgrade right now. I've only upgraded my phone, not my iPad, but still, I totally regret it.

I feel like I shouldn’t respond for fear it’ll jinx me. No problems so far. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Before the patch came through Friday, the screen was less sensitive and I had to tap everything a couple times. Now it's super sensitive and if I hover over a button without even touching the screen, it clicks it. Oy. Battery life is about 50% better than before the patch, but still not as good as it was before the update. Phone also has trouble turning the screen quickly, and periodically displays my wallpaper background upside down.

My daughter's froze up later in the day after she updated.
Once we figured out a hard reboot on the 7 is different from prior iPhones, we did a hard reboot and it hasn't had any further issues.

My daughter's froze up later in the day after she updated. Once we figured out a hard reboot on the 7 is different from prior iPhones, we did a hard reboot and it hasn't had any further issues. Just googled it and found this: "To force restart (hard reset) the iPhone 7, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button + Volume Down button for 10 seconds. Because of the Home button change, it's been replaced by the Volume Down button during the process." No wonder I couldn't do it. They changed it for the 7. Ugh! Going to try it in a few minutes. Downloading my photos in case something happens.

PatterBefore now, doing a hard reset on your iPhone required holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for five seconds. This process won't work on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Instead, to hard reset your iPhone 7, hold down the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons until you see the Apple logo. copied and pasted, cause I keep forgetting and having to look it up too!

I am not having any real issues, knock on wood. A couple of my apps no longer work because the developer hasn’t upgraded their app, but they weren’t important apps. Battery life does seem to go down a bit faster, but I can still go almost the whole day without recharging. I am on a 6S.

I will say this as politely as I can.
Yes.
I am having issues and I am rather incensed.

Mine has minor issues with the touch screen not working with some websites. It started only after the update. Not fixed with the new update either. Sure is making looking for a car an issue as carfax is one website it doesn't want to work with. LOL (knocking on wood as I type)

Yes and no.
My update went fine. No problems that I saw. So I did DH's update. Yikes. He couldn't send an email (but could receive them!), he lost his ringtones, and something else. I tried several things, but ended up at the Apple Store last week. They fixed it, but it wasn't a simple fix--it took the Genius guy over an hour.

I haven't updated yet. I tend to wait until they get a few kinks out. I like to do it to iTunes and then I always reboot after an update. I read this somewhere and I think it helps. I reboot before updating too.

My sons and I have all had issues. We are now getting notices to update to 11.02, but there is no way in hell I'm doing that until they work out the bugs.

I'm avoiding it. Every time it tries to make me, I say "disagree" with the contract. I am also making sure none of my devices are plugged in at night, so they can't do it by stealth.
Why does it always take them a few versions to finally get an update right? Their users are unwitting beta testers. So annoying!

My iPad Air now takes FOREVER to charge and it drains very quickly since the update. I'm pissed.
I also despise the new keyboard.

Nothing major for me (fingers crossed it stays that way). My instagram notifications don't always work the way they should, my texts to my Bank (for balance inquiries, etc.) no longer work but I can receive texts and I stopped getting Amazon photo notifications. I've had no real issues on my iPad. I do wish the new keyboard was on the iPhone too, but it might not be easy to use when it's that small.

So far my only issue is my battery draining way too quickly. Fingers crossed. Usually I wait before updating; I guess I didn’t wait long enough.

my daughter did the update on her iphone 6plus. It corrupted her phone. I called apple spent 2 hours trying to get it resolved. Nothing they can do. IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY!!!! Are you kidding me....
It is a crappy situation. She saved her money from her job and bought this phone last yr. Did the update like normal. Such a bummer. It just freezes. Wont stay on . We were able to reset it back to factory setting but it still freezes.
So I have a nice expensive brick! I feel so bad for her. And even more upset with Apple. I don't know if I would have bought a square trade warranty or extended apple warranty if it would have covered the phone,
