Yep! Going away to the shore with 2 of my girlfriends tomorrow through Monday. It is our yearly trip. I can't wait. For some reason I feel like I am forgetting something...but I am hoping it is a food item.

I made me a space in my son's former bedroom! When I say space it's because he has a lot of crap still in there! I have a 2x4 expedit and a 6 foot folding table out. I'm keeping his lamp for task lighting. I have a wood veneer that says Frozen (font is from the movie). I put light blue stickles all over it and it will probably take a couple of days to dry! It's on a 4x6 card with a snowman. It will be the title for a pumpkin walk we went to 3 years ago. It will be put in a divided sheet protector. The rest is filled with photos and I will be done! I'm in the process of planning a Halloween page of my son from five years ago (Charlie Brown). ETA: It's a school holiday, so I got lots of help from my daughter today moving things up the stairs! I'm so excited to be able to leave things OUT!

Need to sew a Hallowe'en costume and clean out our shed though so...we'll have to see I dearly miss sewing halloween costumes it was always such great fun i wrote how sad I was after my sons last costume:) I enjoy sewing Hallowe'en costumes when there is a pattern to use for them OR it is easy to wing. I'm not so keen on translating a vague idea into fabric...DD17 is planning to be 'war' - one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse - this year. She and 3 friends go camping the weekend before Hallowe'en and take part in a horseback costume parade and contest. It's an awesome idea but it's a little harder to sew 'I need a black, sleeveless jacket with a collar that stands up (we decided she might mean a mandarin collar) that comes to my knees and the bit on the edges inside needs to be deep red ...and a vest with buttons in deep red also' (did I mention that she's a 34DDD and a fitted vest means alterations?) than it was when they wanted to be a witch or clown or a ladybug.... DD11's was more fun to sew but I made it back in January in one night for book character day and she's re-wearing it for Hallowe'en - Harry Potter - I made the robes, a scarf, and a wand.

Trying to! I just finished working on a PL spread last night. I put it away, cleaned up and already started working on the next one. I'm determined to finish June ASAP. I want to dig into some thematic product soon! I'm thinking of doing some traditional 12x12s for the first time in months. I have a lot of pictures from last year that I never got a chance to play with.

I'm hoping to pop in to my room every once in a while, but this weekend is really for homestead work. Today I made half a vat of barbecue sauce and research for next weekend's project. Tomorrow is some chicken coop work and putting up the electric fence for the bees. (We have 3 bears that we want to keep away)

Does shopping count? I think I will be placing a couple of orders and my DD just arrived today so I have that to play with.
It looks like there will be lots of scrapping going on. I wish it was a holiday here but oh well.
What I really need to do is print a bunch of pictures for last years DD and work on that. I pulled out some Halloween movies to torture my son with LOL. Lots of stuff that should get done this weekend but it would be fun to do a bit of scrapping maybe on Sunday.

It has been perfect weather for scrapping today - cold and rain on and off. It's miserable after the beautiful spring weather we had during the week but at least this way I don't feel guilty spending the entire day in my scrap room.
I've nearly finished all my outstanding month in review pages (just one embellishment cluster to go).

I finally got my trip pictures (long frustrating story...) so now I really want to get started on my trip book. I have the time over the next couple of days, but I just don't like doing a project like this at home because I've been so spoiled the last several years doing my trip book at a weekend crop, but I can't go this year. So hopefully I will find the desire to rearrange some things in my basement scrappy area so I can get started.

I started yesterday and completed 3 layouts and journaled one that I forgot about last month.
Today I hope to get another 3-4 done. Tomorrow is football. If there aren't any good games on my channels, I would like to get 2-4 more done.

Plan on scrapping all day tomorrow. It's going to be a cold, dreary day so why not spend it in my scrap room!

Home early from camping, it was pretty windy and the fish weren't biting. Time to rest and scrap for the rest of the weekend.

I scrapped on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday late into the night. I got all the pictures, paper, and embellishments done for all my Disney layouts. I feel so accomplished! Now I just need to get a few titles done and all the journaling. I tend to always leave the journaling last. It's my least favorite thing to do.

I am working on my December Daily. So far I have weeded through my supplies (even more than before) and completed my cover page. Now to start my intention page.

I had another scrapathon today. I typed all the journaling for my album and printed it. My paper trimmer blade is dull so I'll need to wait on cutting and adhering it until it can be replaced but I'm happy with how quickly the album came together. I used Say Cheese III.

Going into 3rd day of the weekend crop. Have most of my autumn pics scrapped (18 pages). Want to do an end page for that album this morning, and then go on to the project I had PLANNED to do this weekend: finishing the family reunion album. That should go quite quickly. 8 1/2 by 11 pages, not a lot of embellishments or layers I am thinking. But switching gears is not always easy.
Need to be packed up and out by 3:30 but I never make it that long. When people start packing up I get distracted and usually start packing too. Will see...

I had the best of intentions and spent a good two hours organizing some embellishments, but I haven't accomplished what I had intended to do. Thursday night I got a HP Envy with a 27 inch curved screen. I needed a new computer to use PSE 2018 on with a large format printer. I was afraid my ink was going to dry up and clog the nozzles. My son set it up Thursday and then most of the day Friday I transferred files, music, and photos. I couldn't get my iTunes to transfer. I spent 2 hours on it. My son walked in, copied a folder I had tried to delete and BAM it was done. Spent today playing with the PSE that arrived around noon and looking at old photos from 2006. So now it is Sunday night and I have no scrapping to show for my weekend. Oh well, there's always next week.

My crops are generally 2+ hours away, so I want to get through Denver before a football game or all of the travelers return from the weekends camping. I have also found I can't get home too early because then my perfectly capable boys in the house think I am going to cook a meal.

I finished one page and laid out my 8x8 calendar swap on my silhouette. Now to cut all the elements.

I have also found I can't get home too early because then my perfectly capable boys in the house think I am going to cook a meal. Too funny. That was the reason my table mate hung on at the crop even though she was finished what she had set out to do. My dh has learned I am not really interested in cooking when I get home from a crop. On Friday he gave me a coupon for fried chicken to pick up on the way home Sunday. I didnt finish the the family reunion album, but did complete about a dozen pages in it before wind up crop activities stole my focus. Over all it was a wonderful scrappy weekend!

This weekend, I am finished putting my stuff away after tearing the room apart to paint and to replace the furniture. The new space seemed to light up my mojo and I was able to complete 3 layouts which is probably more than I did in the past 2 months combined.
