There's a few people on my feed that will at least take good pictures. There's a few others where I'm getting the bathroom sink, their sewing machine, or the messy house.
So far, none of them have completed 7 days (that I've seen) and none of them have tagged me. I'm hoping none of them do. Otherwise, I'm going to take a photo of my yarn every day.

I have a program that blocks all adds, politics and something else. It is a Facebook App that someone on here recommended. You don't know how much I love it! Facebook is awful on my phone but on the computer it's awesome! I am always recommending facebook purity. I have been using it for so many years. I think what I use is Social Fixer. It makes using Facebook so much more fun, doesn't it? NO ADS!!! I love that part the best!

Why are you on Facebook if you can't handle friends/family B&W pics? Honest to God, I hope anyone else who feels the same way unfriends me immediately. I love seeing the different perspectives and snapshots of my friends and family's lives. Yep. And honestly, I really need the OP to answer - If you don't want to see pictures of your friends' lives, what exactly DO you want to see on FB? I DO want to see pictures of my friends' lives, but to quote sawwhet I have no interest in your living room vase. Post of picture of your kid - yay! - of you having fun at the beach (except the feet pictures), on a trip somewhere, or just playing a game, I love these pictures. My cutie cousin just posted a picture of her 3yo and 2yo pointing papers at a Kleenex box because they're not allowed TV. Loved it! No kids or vacations? Post what you're doing or some profound quote or even less profound quote. What I hate is people who post numerous times daily (barring special occasions) and post every meal they eat, every sunset they see and every thought they have. So yes to friends' lives, but no to incessant posting. Honestly, if I had it my way, I'd just have my relatives and my good friends, all of whom post a reasonable amount and nothing incendiary. If it were one beautiful B&W picture, I'd be fine, but why post 7 of them? What is the point? Does that help?

I'll trade you 10 friends who post black and white photos for my 53 year old (former) sister in law who professes her great love for her husband on an almost daily basis. In text-speak that only a 14 year old girl would understand. That is unless she is phoenetically posting in her version of baby talk "I wuv U Buffers. U is my bestestis fwend."
Ugh. She is not like that AT ALL in person.

Wow, I had no idea it would be annoying to anyone! I am seeing it all over my feed, and I was challenged, and I participated. I love seeing random parts of my friends' lives. Yes, even their vases! I love being challenged to take a photo a day, and I love transitioning my photos to black and white. It is making me a bit more creative on a daily basis, and I am hoping to capture my world in a way to interest others. Complainers gonna complain, I guess.

Well, at least you vented to us about it here.
I got one of those messages, from someone I'm not even FB friends with but who I once talked to by FB Messenger, that said "Hi, girlie. Can you put a heart on your FB wall, without comment, only a heart, and then send this message to your women contacts? This is for women to remember it's the week of breast cancer prevention!"
I responded with, "Sorry, no. I am dying of liver disease and can't get a single FB friend to post anything supporting that, even during October which is Liver Disease Awareness month. So I'm not really feeling the pink.
Crickets.
Anyone know how to remove these non-friends from my Messenger list?

Hardly in the realm of posting obnoxiously, if you just keep it to that. Sometimes I post a few times a day, and other times I'll go days without saying anything. I can see your point, but its definitely not on my radar. I have other things that irritate me on FB, though.

I had to block one sort of cousin, that was relentless about sending stuff like that in my inbox.

I've only had a couple of people participating. One was doing the no people one and she takes lovely pictures so I enjoyed them. The other didn't have the no people stipulation so she used it as a humble brag/Beachbody push. her pictures aren't bad, but if I see her in a crow position one more time . . . . (yes, I know it's a significant achievement and she worked hard to be able to do it, but most people don't post pictures reminding the world they can do it once a week.)

I really dislike the posts asking people to respond to a question with a GIF only. Me too. Why not ask people to come wash your dishes for you, too — way too much work.

i have not seen b&w photo challenge (yet) but my bff from high school said she was having a bad day, studying for a certification exam for her job, could people pls post the 8th pic on their camera roll. it's kinda hilarious... she has a diverse group of friends and it shows in the photos.
i have one neighbourhood mom friend who split with her husband and constantly posts sunsets and flowers and tags "my love" (the new boyfriend). her kids are in grade 8 and grade 6 and are on FB, their friends are FB friend with her too. they told the kids they were splitting on a sunday, by wednesday she was posting this shit.
the kids do know about and have met the boyfriend. and she may have her kids and their friends blocked from seeing it but my kids know them, come up behind me on the computer and say "who is jane talking about?". so that is what bugs me right now.

Ads, mine is the all the ads lately!!! Same here...my feed is littered with ads. Mostly from that FitFabBox? I have to look into the ad blocking apps, I didn't know there was such a thing. I don't mind the b/w pics but not too many of them is showing up on my feed.

..and then there are the "Share if you love Jesus" and "Do you have the courage to share you love Jesus?"
I'm a church going person and find those obnoxious.

I hate when there are a lot of GIFs in FB comments-- it totally slows things down. So I dislike people encouraging that.

..and then there are the "Share if you love Jesus" and "Do you have the courage to share you love Jesus?" Yeah, I don't think Jesus is reading on FB to see who loves Him and who doesn't. Posting on FB is not my preferred method of communication with Him. I like seeing the B&W pics. Luckily I don't have too many people that post annoying things. It's FB itself that annoys me-- the ads, it decides what I get to see, showing me every little thing a friend of mine posts to another friend, showing me top stories instead of most recent (and when I do switch it to most recent it shows me like 2% the actual posts!).

They don't bother me. I've only seen one and they are awesome photos. I'm about to stop following another friend who has become a beach body coach.

Post what you're doing or some profound quote or even less profound quote. I'd rather see a photo, funny meme or quote.
