I love to receive these...I should make a point of gifting them more often!

I just got my dad's Christmas list - he is 80. He asked for some new Jockey undershirts, some casual shirts, a nose/ear hair trimmer (!), K-cups. a copper skillet, red and blue bandanas (because the ones he has from the 1970s are starting get worn out. LOL), and a couple of gift cards. He's also obsessed with his Foodsaver so we'll probably get him some rolls and bags for that. I also ordered him a couple of Bible trivia books because the bible study he teaches like to get questions before they start. Your dad is really helpful with his list!

Large thin bath towels. Ones that are not hard to get out of the washer when wet. That's what my mama asked for on her birthday. She said the big thick towels most of us like are too heavy for her to use. She wanted thin bath towels in a a manageable size (not the bath sheets). gift card to car wash place I've done this for my mama as well. In fact, there's a service that will come to her house, pick her car up, detail it, and return it. She loves that. My cousin's husband did a pencil & watercolor rendition of the church my mother has attended as a child for her Christmas one year. He's just a dabbler at it and the "art" was far from perfect, but mama cried when she received it. You couldn't have given her an Old Master painting that would have moved her more. It hangs proudly on her dining room wall.
