Happy 2018!!!!!!!!! Welcome to monthly Sketch/Scraplift challenge! Each month, I will post both a sketch, and a LO for you to lift, or draw inspiration. I'll be including something for both 1 page scrappers, as well as 2 page scrappers, and some of the LO's can be modified to fit either one. I like seeing the creativity of changing them up! I think it will be fun to see what you pick, or if you decide to do both! Here we go! I tried to crop this to the second sketch, but it didn't work, for some reason. So, I'm just going to give you 5 sketches to choose from! As you know, in scraplifting/using sketches, your LO's can end up looking exactly like the inspiration piece, or you can let your creativity run wild! These are just jumping off points to get you rolling. Have fun, and link your LO's back to this thread so that we can all see your piece of art and give you some lovin'! admin , please add to the master list. Thank you!

MY DH has been off all week, so I'm running behind. Since no one had a chance to participate in December, I'm going to extend this for this month.

Here's my take on the single page. The green washi and the top of the label is repeated at the bottom of the page (it's just cut off by my scanner).

Here is mine. Switched it up a bit, but still pretty close to the second sketch in the column. Thanks for the inspiration! I have the pages uploaded separately to the Gallery, but thought I would attach the full double page together here. Attachments:

I followed the first sketch pretty closely. I added a third photo. The great thing about a scraplift is how quickly it goes together, especially when I just use one collection. 2018-01 Scraplift Challenge by Mikk Lynn, on Flickr

Such a cute little cowboy he is! I love the shot of the two pairs of boots, and of him taking those big cowboy steps, wearing those jeans! And I love all the little extras like the coil of twine all working together to make this a Western LO.

Here's my take. I fussy cut all the little lanterns out of a page from a 6x6 Pink Paislee pad

I used this for a Ketchup challenge in June and followed the single page sketch. I followed many June challenges and am claiming 15 points for this one.

using this for the Jan 2019 Ketchup - the layout is much straighter than my photo would imply, lol.
