Oklahoma plays Georgia in the Rose Bowl Semifinal on January 1st. It will be a tough game!
If we can get past Georgia, it's on to the National Championship on January 8th in Atlanta. I can't make it to the Rose Bowl, but if the Sooners make it to Georgia, I will be there cheering them on.
I have to give a shout out to Oklahoma's quarterback, Baker Mayfield, the first walk on to ever win the Heisman Trophy!

We’ll be watching that one too with our son who is a Notre Dame grad! Funny story about Notre Dame fans. I have a cousin whose DH, DS and grandsons all graduated from ND. Back in the day, when ND would lose a game my dad would sometimes call my cousin's husband to kid around with him. My cousin confided that he got an upset stomach when they lost so he stopped answering the phone after ND losses. So one year when ND was having an awful season, my dad bought a bottle of kaopectate and made a custom label that said *For Notre Dame Fans* and mailed it to him. My cousin thought it was hilarious. I'm not sure her DH did.  |

Penn State also had a nice win in the Fiesta Bowl against Washington.
I've been rooting hard for all the Big Ten teams - we're 7-0 in this season's bowl games, and if Michigan pulls off the win against USC we'll be perfect!

What a miserable first half for LSU. UGH. Couldn't punch it in, had some offsides calls that killed us and missed 2 field goal attempts. And people are complaining that Coach O gave a scholarship to a kicker. I say he was one of our best recruit to sign! Geaux Tigers!
