What's the deal with this sale? "Shop all week. Pay shipping only once." Are they adding to the sale daily? What's happening? Are they just waiting for their customers to take X days to buy everything up out of boredom while they wait for their order to finally ship? I don't get it.

they still have scissor prints. I guess they want to make sure nobody misses out since they were so popular in the last mega sale. ✂️😉

I'm wondering if they do this shipping thing so they can give the warehouse time off without being short on people helping with shipping. If they just hold the orders "for our convenience" it doesn't look like slow shipping.

So I gave in and looked for some bargains. I'm in the UK so there would be customs, fair enough, but on $27 of stuff they want to charge me $48 postage. Forget It!

I'm still not understanding how they're not completely pissing off their customer base by selling everything so cheaply. I'm not a member, but if I was I'd be super pissed off.

Yeah, I agree shipping will take forever. This “order all week” business must be a logistical nightmare I mean, I’ve placed 3 orders so far, lol

This “order all week” business must be a logistical nightmare I mean, I’ve placed 3 orders so far, lol I was thinking the same thing—how will they ever get everyone’s orders together as I know some people have placed SIX orders. I personally have placed two. And then it will take forever to get them out I am sure. We may see our goodies in February.

I'm so tired of the same old same old. I'm THRILLED that some of you got great deals on things that you like/need! But for me, I've seen this stuff SO MANY TIMES BEFORE, I can't even be bothered to sit at their stupid web site and scroll for page after page after page. They totally scrod their loyal customers by locking them into year-long commitments instead of letting them buy as they wanted to buy, then turning around and cut-rate-selling these same kits to non-subscribers OVER AND OVER for LESS and LESS. I still can't believe this is a profitable way to run a business, but I guess it is. Well people can now buy 17 kits for the price I used to pay as a subscriber. I can’t imagine they will have any left as the months go by, it would be cheaper to buy your way out of your subscription and buy in the sales i bought lots but really it’s a disgraceful way to treat subscribers

They are counting on no one reading the shipping notice. They're not shipping until sometime in January.

I saw the shipping info but wasn’t concerned about early January. I am thinking it’s really going to be the end of January because of the clause “ship date depends on volume of orders.” If we are any representation of volume of orders, we are all going to wait a while. LOL!

Actually, thank you for that enabling! I've been want a Fuse tool. I picked up the mat and holster at TM previously. I even used the welcome20 code and picked up a planner for DDIL, too. Back in the freezer for me.

I haven't bought anything either. I went and looked when it first started. I was tempted but this is Studio Calico, something is bound to go wrong. And really I have enough. I don't need to shop just because the stuff is cheap.... at least that's what I keep telling myself.

SC did the bundled shipping for Black Friday. I placed 17 orders that week. It took 2 weeks before it was shipped. I got all the items I purchased including a $15 minc machine, no oversold items and no screwups. If you look at you first order, you will see all the items from the other orders on it as well. I guess their new shipping system allows for bundling. I was surprised that my order came safe and sound. Hopefully, everyone who bought this week will not have many issues. I did not buy anything this time.

I placed a second order last night. Damn you Studio Calico, my wallet is not happy!
Seriously, though, I can't believe how much stuff I am getting for relatively little money. I'm so happy I haven't bought from them in 3+ years, because it should all be pretty new to me! I bought a bunch of mists and paints as well as kits and a grab bag or two.
I just bought the Fuse at Michael's last week for $25 Canadian - I wish I had waited and bought it for approx. $7 Canadian from the Studio Calico sale instead!

I ordered a few of the documenter kits, some of the 4x6 pads and a few stamps. My order came to around $40 and I was charged over $30 for shipping to Canada. I really had to think about whether it was worth it with the shipping cost, but figured because of the sales I still came out ahead. I've never ordered from SC before, so I am hoping the product is something I actually end up using.

I found out about this sale on one of their Facebook ads. I've been out of the loop for a while and just got back into scrapping, so I don't know anything about bad things that have gone on with SC. I just know they were always one of my favorite lines, and I used to be a subber way back when, so I was excted about the sale, especially since I haven't bough a lot in the way of papercrafting supplies in quite a while. I ended up getting over $600 worth of stuff for $75 including shipping. I know it will probably take a little while to get (I did read the shipping notice), but I'm excited for that goodies box! Going through new stuff is half the fun Plus it gives me time to get some photos ordered, too.
