Thank you JoP how are you doing with the Woodland blanket? lainey thanks for asking. I really really struggled and I can’t tell you how many times I frogged but I’m finally 4 colours in 🤪😀. I’m manically counting every pattern repeat to double check my stitch pattern is lining up and is the right number. I'm so glad you've got into the swing of it. Can't wait to see pics.

Those ripple blankets are the best. I've made a few. The last one was for my dad. I just used leftover yarn and it turned out great. I just started a cosy stripe in five colors - navy, medium blue, light blue, tan, and cream. I saw one on Pinterest and loved it. I'm several stripes into it and it's pretty. I decided to make blankets for my nieces and nephews for Christmas next year. I only have four to do, but I don't want to put it off. I'd like to have at least two of them done before the end of winter.

I'm hesitant to post from Instagram now but here's a new picture: http://instagram.com/p/Bd70cTmnL5Y This week, I'm focusing on making at least two cowls. I'm going to spend a couple hours on my cross stitch tonight.

Also, yarn fanatics. Anyone ever participate in the fibre share? It's a swap of sorts. More details can be found on Instagram under the @fibreshare account. Open to every single country! I've done it twice now and am thinking about doing it again this year.

I love that cross stitch, lainey. Did you do it on a frame? I tend to just hold mine but even after ironing the fabric can look rumpled I find and I don't really get on with a hoop.

I just held it, I don't get on with a hoop either, it feels to be in the way. I still need to iron this.

I agree, the colours are lovely.
My friend is still struggling with hers. She can do a normal ripple but seems to have a block with this one.

Well, JoP a rough start but your ripple is just looking incredible! I am notoriously slow so it will probably take me longer than you, but yours is looking great!

Thank you for the kind comments. jeremysgirl I’m well behind on this - I’ve not even finished the colours from week 1 yet and week 3 colours are released this coming Friday. I’m not stressing though, it’ll be finished when it’s finished

I was hoping that I could use snow as an excuse to stay home and crochet today but it’s going to be a long, light, fluffy storm so I have to go to work. I have less than 10 squaresbefore sewing them together.

We have snow today - about an inch so of course everything is closed down here in GA So...I will be able to get some crafting time in (plus catch up on some shows I've recorded) Stay safe - hope your work day goes well.

Well, I put in four hours and left. We’re getting a lot more where I live than where I work so I opted to get out before it got awful. I’m getting ready to crochet and watch Dateline on demand 😊
