I slightly considered stoping at Tuesday Morning on my way home today, but I didn't. I reminded myself I don't need more stuff. Or to spend any money!

I’ve really got to make a big dent in my stash before I buy much. Then I need to get some pictures developed.

I consider Freezing/Refrigerating more of a use my stash challenge than a punishment* for spending. *that's a little stronger sounding than intended but makes the point. A *TIME OUT* is more what you mean. A use of your stash challenge is a good way to look at it!

The new releases are all doing me a favor and not even tempting me a little.
I still need to put in a photo order for December's pics, but I'll do that Sunday (hopefully) when I am off from work and can focus.

The new releases are all doing me a favor and not even tempting me a little. Overall I'm the same. There's been a couple of papers I like but chances are by the time they are available to purchase I won't feel the same way or will have forgotten what I thought I wanted.

Stay tough, my friends! I don't want to say frozen, because it's -10 degrees F this morning. I'll go with on a time out, thank you FurryP.

There's been a couple of papers I like but chances are by the time they are available to purchase I won't feel the same way or will have forgotten what I thought I wanted. That's what I'm thinking too. I might see if some of the handful I like are available by the sheet when I visit my LSS sometime this spring. I have to buy something from her when I go in since they have to contend with me drooling over everything for the hour(s) I'm there. <iframe width="22" height="5.539999999999992" style="position: absolute; width: 22px; height: 5.54px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1022px; top: -338px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_93774679"></iframe> <iframe width="22" height="5.539999999999992" style="position: absolute; width: 22px; height: 5.54px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 9px; top: -116px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_47362837"></iframe> <iframe width="22" height="5.539999999999992" style="position: absolute; width: 22px; height: 5.54px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1022px; top: -116px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_11109131"></iframe> ETA: After thinking about it, no, I'm going to just bring a photo log of the layouts I'm struggling with so I can stick to buying only the few papers I know I'll use.

I consider Freezing/Refrigerating more of a use my stash challenge than a punishment* for spending. *that's a little stronger sounding than intended but makes the point. This is me too. I just want to use some of my stuff vs buying more that I don’t need. I have so much stuff I want/need to use. More scrapping, less surfing/shopping! I do find that putting lots of items in myvwish list/cart satisfies the impulse shopping enjoyment, and then I don’t buy, or whittle it down to what I really love instead of impulse buys. But, the new Pinkfresh Case of the Blahs might need to come to my collection.

I have not been tempted by the new lines either except one that had a few individual papers I liked, but right now I cannot even remember which line that was, so good chance I won't get those anyway.

I just walked out of Michael’s today with nothing. Was killing time waiting for a food order and wasn’t even tempted.

So, so proud of myself!
I was at Dollar Tree tonight, and they had Hampton Arts clear stamps in three designs, and I did not buy them!
I thought about it, but in the end, I know they aren't the style I use.

Pushing the thread up just to warm it up a bit in here. But it is still the frozen/refrigerated thread!!!
I am not even going to bother telling you I walked in to a Tuesday Morning yesterday because I wanted to. LOL. I found only one $1.99 item I wanted to buy, but in the end I left it behind to find another home to live in.
Still Frozen!!

Oh! I have never participated in these! But it's a very good time to do so, since my hub's contract has ended and there is just no extra. I'm using my p/t job to pay the easy pay for the Cameo 3 and then my Silhouette America subscription. But other than that...frozen until he gets a new contract, at least.
I have plenty in my crafty nook (the technology center built into our home) and my Kallax unit is still in its box in the garage.

I'm still proudly frozen. Woo-hoo!
I ordered a stamp and die set back in December for a friends birthday, but when it came the die wasn't in there. I checked my order and I guess I never added it or accidentally deleted it. Anyway I did re-order the die. But since it wasn't for me I'm still good, right?
Saturday I'm going to a (not so local) LSS with friends for a LF card class. Here's hoping I hang tough and don't fall for the 10% discount on LF on products.

I like the idea if a new thread each month! I’m refrigerated. I have my Elle’s Studio kit and my AE SbtM kit, plus I’m setting a limit of $25 for other purchases (mainly for addons at Elle’s), but I really don’t need more stuff - I need to make a dent in what I have! Spent $14 at Elle’s Studio release, but kept it well under the limit I set!

I’m in for a no spend on scrapbook related items this month. and I made it 8 days!!! Yeah, that's my sarcastic self coming out. I broke down yesterday evening and order $20 in enamel dots from the freckled fawn flash sale. They were $1 per pack. I'm weak. Back into the freezer with me. bbrr.

I know it's partway through the month, but I WANT to be in on this, because I've started to buy supplies just to 'buy' stuff...
except I do need to buy a new Tiny Attacher, as I lost mine (I finally saw it at Joann's yesterday for either 30% or 40% off, but the line at the register was too insane).
But after that, I really want to start USING my stuff, rather than just buying more and more.

I bought some of the FJ Jan kit earlier this month but it's been my only step out of frozen. I actually feel pretty good about it as I've been creating way more than shopping.

Jumping on sale like that is just smart! I'd have done it, too. I love enamel dots.

I found everything so easy to use. My problem is I find everything too pretty to use. I am conveniently overlooking those supplies while I've been creating, partly because they haven't suited the types of stories I've been working on, but also partly because not all my papers fit in my storage drawer so I have all the FJ ones stored elsewhere.

I'm doing really well for cutting down to a trickle of shopping! Other than my SC Documenter kit, I haven't bought anything since the 1st. Today I went to the monthly crop at my LSS and I spent $25 on page protectors and a couple of the newish Prima planner glue sticks. I also purchased a digital kit from In A Creative Bubble to use for my PL 2018 title page. This is really good restraint for me with all the sale notices I've seen. I'll be super happy if I can just stop caving into the "gotta get it because it's a good deal" mentality - it's not a good deal if I don't really need it.

so I didn't even last a day... I stopped by Joann's to pick up the Tiny Attacher (30% off), and ended up picking up some K&Co die cuts (40% off), a new set of Souffle pens (50% off coupon), and a DCWV 180 sheet stack of paper (50% off). I guess I just don't like the cold, lol!! But at least everything was on sale... right? And tomorrow I'm going in!! (into my craft room, that is-- to continue the straightening up, so I can do some creating!!)

Ive bought some enamel dots from ali express(spent 3 dollars total) and got 2 divided trays for my iris containers. I plan on using them when I make page kits up. No more spending for me for couple months, I'm set.
