I’m refrigerated, not frozen. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I was almost out of 12x12 page protectors, so I ordered some more because I have about 100 pages that need to be put away. A needed purchase. I also spent about $7 on digital supplies too. Not needed, and a bit of buyers remorse, but the kits will be used and loved.

Hello All! I have some good news and some bad news. Let's start with the good news...I have stayed totally frozen. Even with all of the sales during January here in Spain I have managed to stay away and not buy even one photo corner. The bad news? I haven't made ONE layout or started my PL album. We moved the final days of December and I have still been trying to get my room in order. For some reason I have not had an urge to scrap. I did make a huge purge of supplies and even some not often used tools and gave it to a co-workers daughter that is getting into scrapbooking. I gave her a lot of nice stuff that is just not my style (i.e. several Dear Lizzy papers, never opened embellishment packs, stickers, die cuts, ect and a whole lot of other nice stuff that I will just never use). I need to get it in gear because a freeze does me no good if I don't get in my scrap room and make.

I’ve moved to being refrigerated. Just waiting for Feb to roll around when I can purchase more felt and patterns to do Christmas ornaments. I’m cancelling my Cocoa Daisy kit because of shipping increases.

I'm just a day away from being frozen for a month.
It's a good start to the year.

catseatcheese Congratulations--sales in Spain are what did me in! Scrapbooking supplies are cheaper there than in France so even with 30% off, it's almost half off from my former usual shops. And they have new releases on sale, too, which never happens here. I've bought everything I need for the year--the usual like cardstock, glue, page protectors and also patterned papers, chipboard, etc. So now I'm frozen again if you'll accept me back in the group.

I did it! I had a no-spend January. Well except for the pre-order of the Media Mat, which I won't get until later. I almost caved with the Oxides that Moraie posted on the FSOT board. I thought that if they were still Thursday (today) then I would get them. But unfortunately for me someone else purchased them.
I'll see how long I can last in February.

Spent $14 at Elle’s Studio release, but kept it well under the limit I set! Ali Edwards 30% off deal got me yesterday - I picked up a stamp and got free shipping, so I only spent $11ish. I’m still at the $25 goal I set, so feeling pretty good about it. I don’t expect there to be anything else this month that tempts me, unless Pinkfresh A Case of the Blahs is available on preorder at a discount at ACOT. Hopefully that will go on next month’s spending. I haven’t made much progress in actually using up stash though. I need to get on that! I also picked up the Studio Calico sub stamp for $5 using their code, so not too bad for the month! I’m still looking hard at Kelly Purkey’s kit - love the space theme.

I was also very surprised to find that the online scrap stores in Spain are so much less expensive (some even than USA stores!) and that shipping is reasonable or even free. When I first moved to Spain from the US I was still shipping kits from the US but now I only pick up something if I physically go back for a visit. In addition, if I need to get cardstock, glue, or something like that I do not count it towards the freeze. If I have no adhesive I can't make any layouts which defeats the purpose of a freeze and stash busting. Where do you live in France?

It's the rest. All the rest! But there were things up to 60% off and it felt good to thoroughly enjoy the shopping. Maybe I should go to Spain for my next summer vacation ? I live in the South East of France, by the way.

Very proud of myself - I visited 4 big box craft stores today and spent less than $5 in total.
12 for $2 papers at JoAnn's,
$1.90 for a bottle of Tombo MONO liquid glue at M's, and
$.70 for 2 sheets of HL paper.
And I walked out of ACM without buying anything.
How are all of you chilled Peas doing?

I have been so busy creating this month I haven’t had the time or motivation to even think about shopping.

I've been adding and deleting from my shopping cart at ACOT for 2 months. I finally placed the order. But, I was very selective. In the past, I would order a whole collection packet. This time I picked just a few papers from various lines.
I did buy 2 mini collections.
I'm back in the freezer!

I cancelled my FJ sub which I am sad about. But I have stash of kits waiting to use so can't keep it all rolling in. I am tempted to get a three month Tonic Craft Kit sub as I love the look and it will push me outside my usual creating zone. I'd also like a magnetic plate for my Big Shot Plus but it is so $$$. Still debating if I even love the Big Shot Plus!

Is it the size of the BSP kiwikate? I like my regular Big Shot but just wouldn’t have room for a larger machine.

I am still in the freezer for 2018. A friend told me she is having a baby girl and it may take me out of the freezer to get a small album to make her a baby book. I don't have the right size for it and think that 12x12 is overwhelming for someone that is not a regular scrapper.

I'm way out of the freezer. Amazingly I made it through January but I've been very spendy the past two weeks. Time for me to get in there and get some cards made.

For the size it feels insubstantial and I'm not convinced it cuts as well as it should. So it lives in a cupboard and I have to haul it out and clear room to use it.

I stayed frozen all of January, and all of February so far.
I haven't scrapped much, but I do have the beginnings of a layout on my desk.

I am just bumping this up for some confessions. I didn't spend anything until last weekend at a retreat (4 pcs of cardstock and a pack of blending tool foams). When I came home I signed up for Shimelle's Clear the Desk class, bought a few cut files and the She Is Brave collection from Illustrated Faith (the proceeds are going to Stephanie & her family). This all came to $42.47.
Now, I'll just hop back into the freezer.

I caved slightly in Feb - I bought Shimelle's class but it has more than paid for itself with the papers I've already pulled out and used and I've only completed the first kit. I also defrosted for a bulk pack of white cardstock since I had a 40% off coupon. I went back and forth on this purchase, finally deciding it was smart since I've used the heck out of my cardstock during the Feb challenges here and I've only got about 10 sheets of that particular cardstock left.
Now I'm happy to be back in the freezer - I can actually see my paper stash going down!

I keep seeing great reviews of, lots of inspo from, and importantly lots of pages done because of Shimelle’s class. I may have to break down and get it, even though I have loads of unfinished classes I wanted to make a dent in before buying more...

I watched the first video and I’m going to pull my kit tomorrow and see how it goes.

Well, I didn't spend anything in January of February. I also didn't scrap much. Life is really getting in the way.
I'm thinking of maybe shopping in March, hoping to kick start my desire to scrap.
