Hah. No. I asked her to organize things in the basement so I could send the younger kids down there during a party. Our ideas of organization did not coincide, unfortunately.

I just have a hard time giving myself permission to play until my work is done. And there's always so much that needs to be done. This is my problem. Plus I get on the internet for just a few minutes, and it turns into much longer. I do better when I schedule scrapbook time, or even better, invite a friend to come scrap. It motivates me to clean house and plan a project. By the time my scrapping friend arrives, I am usually ready to play.

My over zealous plan is one crafty thing a day. Now, hear me out! I mass produced 10 Valentine's Day cards for my son's teacher and aides. That will count as one a day, once I add the sentiment in the card. That would put me at 10 and it's Jan. 14!

When I think of it as meeting a goal, ideas shrivel. That's why my goal is very vague.

@millefeuilles I did just today get my room back in some semblance of order. I was lost in my closet(which holds overflow and is literally stacked to the ceiling) for three days. I'm almost ready to start scrapping again. jane, I'm terribly sorry for your loss.
