I had a busy day with a morning of hair coloring, and an afternoon of client meetings. I really liked the outfit I wore -- nothing fancy, but it was comfortable and cute.
I had on skinny gray jeans with a light gray/charcoal striped tee (it had a little glitter to it) and a soft black blazer. I added some long necklaces from Brighton (my daughter's Christmas present to me) and black patent loafers. I liked the black and gray look. I have a red leather computer bag, so that added a pop of color.
It was super nice to feel confident like that. I ended up rocking my meetings, and added a new project for about 15 hours a week indefinitely, YAY!
I was thinking about this because I was sick for about four days earlier and didn't get out of pajamas. It was nice to wear real clothes again.
I'm working at home today, but I think I might get dressed anyway.
I wore a long skirt that was higher in the middle and longer on the sides with a white tshirt and denim jacket with black knee length boots. I also wore a 3 stranded red bead and silver necklace. It is outfit I am always comfortable in and I always get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I think there is a lot to be said about feeling better when you dress better.
A version of what I wear every day, ha. My work uniform consists of a pair of Gap bi-stretch skinny ankle pants, a shirt of some kind and a long cardigan with either my black or brown Blundstones or my Dr Martin Mary Janes. I work in a slightly chilly office environment and this ‘uniform’ of mine keeps me warm and comfortable all year long. I must stop buying multiple versions of this look however....is it wrong to have 10 and counting pairs of different versions of the same pants ?
I didn't really get "dressed" until later in the day yesterday as I spent the morning cleaning and organizing. Then I showered and got ready to run a few errands before attending a meeting to plan a planning meeting (don'tcha love those?). We met at a local coffee shop and I got a compliment on my outfit from a table of college girls there so I must have been on trend. Lol.
I wore dark-washed jeans with blue suede booties. On top I had a long, fitted tunic sweater with a big fringed sloppy collar (almost cowl neck) in an army green color. I added a long silver & gold pendant necklace.

The day started out at 42 degrees yesterday, and dropped to 10 (with sub zero wind chills) by the time I was home from work...those are hard days to plan for!
I wore black skinny jeans, and a eggplant colored turtle neck long sleeve shirt. With black flats. I was fairly comfortable as the cold set in, but my feet were obviously cold when I went out to my car. I did at least know to grab my better winter coat in the morning instead of my lighter one.
