linkShareBlue Media.... “ Trump has failed to nominate anyone for nearly half the seats in his government”“It’s no secret that Donald Trump has not done much governing during his time in office. Despite his claims to the contrary, Trump has signed fewer bills at this point in his presidency than any U.S. president in at least six decades. In fact, the number of days he has spent on a golf course is about to surpass the number of bills he has signed into law. But Trump’s desk isn’t the only part of his government that is sitting empty. Nearly a full year into his presidency, Trump has failed to nominate anyone to fill nearly half of the most important positions in his administration. That’s according to an ongoing analysis by the Washington Post, which is tracking the status of over 600 key positions that need to be filled through executive branch nominations.“ I suspect, not understanding how government works, tiny hands figures these folks aren’t needed. Or even worse, he can’t find anyone that wants to work for him. NY Times Editorial Board wrote an editorial on how trump is destroying the government. I’m all for change but trump was never the guy to do it. Too many people were taken in by him selling himself as successful. I don’t care how much money he has and how many buildings have his name on them, a truly successful businessmen doesn’t go through bankruptcy 4 times. People were duped and so was the press. trump did not go through the vetting that all other presidential candidates go through.

Fox News...
“Former President @barackobama resurfaced on Friday and took a shot at Fox News viewers, saying they’re “living on a different planet” than people who consume mainstream media.”
1. The rest of his quote “living on a different planet then those who watch NPR”
2. PresidentvObama was correct.

This guy Paul Sperry for the New York Post who wrote this in the Post...
“When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.
In what’s shaping up to be a highly unusual post-presidency, Obama isn’t just staying behind in Washington. He’s working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration and its popular “America First” agenda.
He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country.”
Is now writing this much to the delight of trump...
“Hillary’s 33,000 emails might not be ‘missing’ after all”
For months now, we’ve been told that Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 missing emails were permanently erased and destroyed beyond recovery. But newly released FBI notes strongly suggest they still exist in several locations — and they could be recovered, if only someone would impanel a grand jury and seize them.
In a May interview with FBI agents, an executive with the Denver contractor that maintained Clinton’s private server revealed that an underling didn’t bleach-clean all her subpoenaed emails, just ones he stored in a data file he used to transfer the emails from the server to Clinton’s aides, who in turn sorted them for delivery to Congress.
The Platte River Networks executive, whose name was redacted from the interview report, said PRN tech Paul Combetta “created a ‘vehicle’ to transfer email files from the live mailboxes of [Clinton Executive Services Corp.] email accounts [and] then later used BleachBit software to shred the ‘vehicle,’ but the email content still existed in the live email accounts.”
Unless one of Clinton’s aides had the capability to log in to the PRN server as an administrator and remove a mailbox, her archived mailboxes more than likely still reside somewhere in that system. And they may also materialize on an internal “shared drive” that PRN created to control access to the Clinton email accounts among PRN employees. PRN has been under FBI order to preserve all emails and other evidence since the start of its investigation last year.
But in a June follow-up interview, FBI agents inexplicably left it up to this critical witness to “inquire about the shipment” with the foundation’s mailroom manager, who works in Rockefeller Center. The FBI still does not have the laptop in its possession.
It turns out that investigators also know the whereabouts of the original Apple server Clinton used in her first two months in office. Recovering that equipment is critical because it contains a mass of unseen emails from Jan. 21, 2009, to March 18, 2009 — a critical period in Clinton’s tenure at State. Witnesses say the equipment was not discarded, as first believed, but “repurposed” as a “work station” used by staff in Clinton’s Chappaqua residence.
Yet the FBI says it “was unable to obtain the original Apple server for a forensic review.” Instead of seizing it, the agency has taken Clinton’s aides’ and lawyers’ word that the server’s bereft of relevant emails. In fact, the agency confesses on Page 27 of its 47-page investigative case summary that it failed to recover other equipment and data as well: “The FBI’s inability to recover all server equipment and the lack of complete server log data for the relevant time period limited the FBI’s forensic analysis of the server systems. As a result, FBI cyber analysis relied, in large part, on witness statements.”
Congressional investigators say FBI Director James Comey in his year-long “investigation” didn’t even bother to send agents to search Clinton’s homes in Chappaqua or Washington, DC. Nor did he dispatch them to the offices of the Clinton Foundation or Clinton Executive Services Corp. in New York City.
“The Clinton residences and other locations should have been treated like any other criminal investigation — with federal grand jury subpoenas or search warrants issued by judges and served in the middle of the night,” said veteran FBI special agent Michael M. Biasello, who worked criminal cases out of New York and other field offices for 27 years.
“Never — I repeat, never — in my career have I or any FBI agent known to me investigated a criminal case without the use of a federal grand jury, grand jury subpoenas or search warrants,” he said. “It’s disgraceful they weren’t used in this case.”
The most damning evidence against Clinton may never have been actually destroyed. It was simply left untouched by the FBI.“
i give up. This is just what trump and the GOP want to turn the investigations away from trump and on to Hillary. I doubt very much if the FBI knew where these missing emails were they would have done what was needed to get them.
By the way as a reminder it wasn’t Hillary who decided what were work related and what were personal emails it was her attorneys. To do what this fool is suggesting would require an awful lot of people be in on the cover up which would be pretty dumb. Because the more people in on it the greater chance someone would talk. Hillary is a smart cookie. If she was planning on hiding something she would have done the sorting herself instead of turning it over to a third party. Even if the third party was her attorneys.

Trump administration resumes accepting DACA renewals Nicole Chavez, associate writer CNN Digital By Nicole Chavez, CNN Updated 11:58 PM ET, Sat January 13, 2018 (CNN)The Trump administration has resumed receiving renewal applications for individuals eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. In a statement posted Saturday, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services said the DACA program will be operated "on the terms in place" before it was rescinded last September. "Due to a federal court order, USCIS has resumed accepting requests to renew a grant of deferred action under DACA," the statement said. The agency said it won't be processing applications for those who have never before received DACA protections and no new applications will be accepted. The announcement comes days after a federal judge in California temporarily blocked the Trump administration's efforts to end DACA. The program protected young undocumented immigrants who came to the US as children from deportation. President Donald Trump had criticized the judicial process, noting that the ruling could still be overturned. "It just shows everyone how broken and unfair our Court System is when the opposing side in a case (such as DACA) always runs to the 9th Circuit and almost always wins before being reversed by higher courts," the President tweeted on Wednesday. www.cnn.com/2018/01/13/politics/daca-resumes-renewals/index.html

Trump retweets far-right activistBY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 01/13/18 11:22 PM EST President Trump retweeted a far-right figure on Saturday night. Trump retweeted Jack Posobiec, who is well-known for promoting debunked “alt-right” conspiracy theories. “Dick Durbin called Trump racist for wanting to end chain migration. Here's a video of Dick Durbin calling for an end to chain migration,” the tweet read. Dick Durbin called Trump racist for wanting to end chain migration. Here's a video of Dick Durbin calling for an end to chain migration t.co/xcbXT4UH8Q— Jack Posobiec (@jackposobiec) January 14, 2018 The brief clip is a cut from a 30-minute September 14, 2010 Senate floor speech by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) arguing in favor of approving the Dream Act, not calling for an end to chain migration. The section of the clip cut by Prosobiec shows Durbin reading a description of the Dream Act and specific measures to limit family migration, or so-called chain migration. Durbin was among the senators attending a meeting with Trump, during which the president referred to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations as “shithole countries.” Durbin confirmed Trump’s comments to reporters. thehill.com/homenews/administration/368940-trump-retweets-far-right-activistThere is also an article protest in Switzerland against dt attending Davos whatever.... It wasn't an anti trump group that made the protest but a far right group. They didn't last long and were dispersed by the police after 15 min. There weren't that many of them. I don't know where that gallows photo emerged from but that wasn't reported on any legitimate news report. I loved the way the mayor of London opened his speech though....... “It’s a pleasure to be here, even though we were distracted by the actions of what some would call very stable geniuses,” Khan joked.

Then I step back a little. I'm okay with that. If we all (everywhere) take our breaks at different times, we got this covered. I hope.

Maybe he has forgotten it, after all, he has so many ETA: maybe it has something to do with who was born here? Some other dude he doesn't really rate? Or am I mixing that up with one of the $h1thole countries?

linkSo the “What has trump said now” for today has to do with the WSJ interview and what trump did or did not say about North Korea. Sanders released a video showing he said this and the WSJ fired back with their own video and a written transcript saying not so much. All this can just make your head spin. But against my better judgement I read the transcript because I can’t stand listening to trump talk. But I found reading his answers isn’t much better. Here are a couple of his answers. I put the question to give you an idea of what he is kind of talking about. Those answers are just plain nuts. Question.. “WSJ: You think North Korea is trying to drive a wedge between the two countries, between you and President Moon?” Answer... “Mr. Trump: I will let you know. But if I were them I would try. But the difference is I’m president; other people aren’t. And I know more about wedges than any human being that’s ever lived, but I’ll let you know. But I’ll tell you, you know, when you talk about driving a wedge, we also have a thing called trade. And South Korea—brilliantly makes—we have a trade deficit with South Korea of $31 billion a year. That’s a pretty strong bargaining chip to me. With that being said, President Xi has been extremely generous with what he’s said, I like him a lot. I have a great relationship with him, as you know I have a great relationship with Prime Minister Abe of Japan and I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un of North Korea. I have relationships with people, I think you people are surprised.” Question... “WSJ: Some people would see your tweets, which are sometimes combative towards Kim Jong Un...” Answer... “Mr. Trump: Sure, you see that a lot with me and then all of a sudden somebody’s my best friend. I could give you 20 examples. You give me 30. I’m a very flexible person.” Question.. “ WSJ: Do you have to have a completely funded wall or—would $1.6 billion be enough?” Answer.. “ Mr. Trump: Let me, let me tell you something about the wall. So I’ve always said we have to have a wall. I’ve also said Mexico’s got to pay for it—sometimes you know on occasion, I’d add who’s going to pay for it? Mexico. Well they will pay for it, OK? There are many forms of payment. I could name 10 right now. There are many forms of payment, I didn’t say how. “ Follow up question... “ WSJ: Could you give us an example? “ Answer.. “ Mr. Trump: They can pay for it through, as an example, they can pay for it indirectly through Nafta. OK? You know, we make a good deal on Nafta, say I’m going to take a small percentage of that money and it’s going to go toward the wall. Guess what? Mexico’s paying. Now Mexico may not want to make the Nafta deal and which is OK, then I’ll terminate Nafta…which I think would be frankly a positive for our country. I don’t think it’s a positive for Mexico, I don’t think it’s a positive for the world. But it’s a positive for our country because I’d make a much better deal. There is no deal that I can make on Nafta that’s as good as if I terminate Nafta and make a new deal. OK? But I feel that we have a chance of making a reasonable deal, the way it is now.

“.@sendavidperdue, who originally said he did not recall “s***hole” comments in his meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office, now tells me on @thisweekabc that the president “did not use that word” #ThisWeek”
So it’s gone from “I don’t recall” to “did not use that word”. Senator Perdue do you really think anyone is going to believe you now?

Bolding is mine. I can’t listen to him talk. I can barely handle reading transcripts. What in the actual hell is this nonsense? When you talk about driving a wedge, we also have a thing called trade? That. Doesn’t. Even. Make. Sense. My head just exploded. I know what you mean. I feel dumber just reading the transcripts.

George Stephanopoulos... “.@sendavidperdue, who originally said he did not recall “s***hole” comments in his meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office, now tells me on @thisweekabc that the president “did not use that word” #ThisWeek” So it’s gone from “I don’t recall” to “did not use that word”. Senator Perdue do you really think anyone is going to believe you now? didnt I hear someone later on that show say that it is possible that he said "shithouse" instead of "shithole" which is why some GOP (and possibly prompted twitler tweet) are fervently denying that 45 said "that word". Semantics. The man is an asshat. <<< and yes, I said that. Even if you 'mishear' me as saying 'asshole' -I still said that. I own it. Same.damn.thing.

linkSo the “What has trump said now” for today has to do with the WSJ interview and what trump did or did not say about North Korea. Isn't a wedge a type of golf club? Likely that is what DJT thinks they are talking about. Sad.....and so embarrassing for the USA.

And they think his mind is sound? No he is delusional!!
Something else, they are saying what a good talk he gave about MLK Day. He read it, they, I am sure, were NOT his words! He speak a coherent sentence let alone a paragraph!
