Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson was so effusive in extolling the totally amazing, surpassingly marvelous, superbly stupendous and extremely awesome health of the president that the doctor sounded almost Trumpian. “The president’s overall health is excellent,” he said, repeating “excellent” eight times: “Hands down, there’s no question that he is in the excellent range. . . . I put out in the statement that the president’s health is excellent, because his overall health is excellent. . . . Overall, he has very, very good health. Excellent health.” And just how excellent is His Excellency’s excellent health, doctor? “Incredible cardiac fitness,” was Dr. Jackson’s professional opinion. “He has incredible genes. . . . He has incredibly good genes, and it’s just the way God made him.” Wash, rinse, repeat........ Excellent excellent very very excellent........ Too many repeated adjectives! Who do we hear that from every day?

Sure, the guy could exercise and lose a few pounds. But “if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old,” the White House physician proclaimed. Jackson even blessed Trump’s habit of sleeping only four or five hours a night — “probably one of the reasons why he’s been successful” — and his couch-potato tendencies: “He can watch as much TV as he wants.” seriously? I can't imagine ANY (legitimate) doctor HONESTLY endorsing habits like this as healthy. Merge , thanks for posting that article, because I hadn't heard the entire statement from the doctor. It certainly reads like he was WELL-coached on what to say, and HOW EXACTLY to say it. Trump is “ very sharp, and he’s very articulateNow THAT actually made me snort.

I couldn't make sense out of why that doctor said the things he said. Then it dawned on me today. It's because if he had one iota of negativity about Trump, he'd be blasted by the bully-in-chief and his career would tank.

That doctor's report wasn't written by a doctor.
It sounds like the exact same speech pattern as Trump.
Again, It's rumoured the that Dr. Jackson only SIGNED that report. It is obvious who wrote it.

Yes, Flake did an outstanding job, but he could risk it, he is not running. Right, but the point is to try to make any of those lily-livered jerks with a vestige of decency remaining squirm in their seats a little bit. Please tell me there are one or two.

“The FACTS:
- Number of "Fake News" Stories" Trump could find for his #FakeNewsAwards after a year of reporting: 8
- Number of these stories corrected by the press: 8
- Number of Trump Lies over last year: 1,593
- Number of Trump Lies which he corrected: 0”
The most important number is the number of verifiable out right lies the President of the United States told.

SF Gate...
“Lawmakers grilled executives Facebook, Google's YouTube and Twitter on Wednesday about what the companies are doing to prevent terrorists from using their platforms to spread propaganda and recruit new followers.”
This is nice but what about this?
“The Trump administration has taken little meaningful action to prevent Russian hacking, leaking and disruption in the next national election in 2018, despite warnings from intelligence officials that it will happen again, officials and experts told NBC News.
"This attack is really the political equivalent of 9/11 — it is deadly, deadly serious," said Michael Vickers, a career intelligence official who was the Pentagon's top intelligence official in the Obama administration. "The Russians will definitely be back, given the success they had…I don't see much evidence of a response."
According to recent Congressional testimony, Trump has shown no interest in the question of how to prevent future election interference by Russia or another foreign power. Former FBI Director James Comey told senators that Trump never asked him about how to stop a future Russian election cyber attack, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who sits on the National Security Council, testified that he has not received a classified briefing on Russian election interference.
Dozens of state officials told NBC News they have received little direction from Washington about election security.”

from the Reuters story:
"The people that do the food at the White House are extraordinary, but I think they can maybe make the portions a little bit smaller and maybe we’ll cut out some of the more fattening ingredients,” he said.
^^^ so it's not because he decides to eat cheeseburgers and that he doesn't ever get out of his golf cart-- it's THEIR fault because THEY make the portions too big on the White House meals and THEY use more fattening ingredients. He only eats it because it's put in front of him, I guess- He makes it sound like 'well, I would eat healthier, but they make it so I can't...'
Although it's really no surprise that he won't even take responsibility for THIS, but statements like this from him really make me angry.

Trump children's health insurance tweet contradicts, confoundsCNN Digital Expansion 2017 By Dan Merica and Betsy Klein, CNN Updated 10:39 AM ET, Thu January 18, 2018 Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump contradicted his own administration on Thursday when he tweeted that funding for the Children's Health Insurance Program should not be included in a short-term plan to fund the government. "CHIP should be part of a long-term solution, not a 30 Day, or short term, extension," Trump tweeted.CHIP should be part of a long term solution, not a 30 Day, or short term, extension!
— Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) January 18, 2018That is the opposite to what his administration said on Wednesday. More at link: www.cnn.com/2018/01/18/politics/trump-chip-funding-republicans/index.htmlHe truly does not remember from to day day what he has said! Or he is deliberately trying to cause difficulties all around!

THEY cannot tell the truth!! White House denies Trump's Pennsylvania trip is for Saccone campaignBY BEN KAMISAR - 01/18/18 12:06 PM EST Will be going to Pennsylvania today in order to give my total support to RICK SACCONE, running for Congress in a Special Election (March 13). Rick is a great guy. We need more Republicans to continue our already successful agenda!
— Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) January 18, 2018While taxpayers are on the hook to pay for official White House trips, political parties have to reimburse the White House for any campaign travel. That's easy when the president takes a trip solely to campaign—the party just reimburses the cost of the trip. But when the president mixes an official event with a political event, like a fundraiser, only the portion of the trip related to politics needs to be reimbursed. thehill.com/homenews/campaign/369543-white-house-denies-trumps-pennsylvania-trip-is-for-saccone-campaign

linkApparently Senator Tom Cotton can’t handle the heat he is getting from his constituents so he wrote this letter... “This letter is immediate notification that all communication must cease and desist immediately with all offices of US Senator Tom Cotton. All other contact will be deemed harassment and will be reported to the United States Capitol Police. The Office of US Senator Tom Cotton” This is From a person who called the wimp’s office. “I received a letter from the office of U.S. Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas after calling and expressing my grave concerns over his actions and support of this administration's agenda concerning a wide variety of subjects from the attack on our healthcare, DACA and immigration issues, to national security, to the rise of white nationalist fascism, to the environment, the gutting of our State Department, the attack on the free press...and similar deeply troubling actions & motives I've seen Senator Cotton support & condone. It was odd to receive this letter as I've called other Members of Congress to express my strong thoughts and opinions about their actions and thought this to be not only my duty as an American citizen but my First Amendment right granted all U.S. citizens by our U.S. Constitution, the foundation of our Democracy. I believe if Tom Cotton's office were to respond as to why they sent this letter, I think they just honestly don't want to listen to any citizen's opposing view or hear the numerous grave concerns U.S. citizens have about the serious & ongoing attack on our Democracy and past election cycle in which a foreign, hostile Russian government interfered, they don't want U.S. citizens to call and speak their mind and truth in a very direct manner and they obviously don't want to be held accountable for their words and actions while serving all the people in this nation. I may have used unprofessional and unbecoming language at times as the anxiety and stress of what I'm witnessing is at times too great a burden to control and I have vehemently expressed my righteous anger at Senator Cotton's complicitness with this harmful regime” If you can’t take the heat then don’t run for public office. I think this fool has grand plans to run for President. Good luck with that.

seriously?!? any communication with him, if he's their senator, would be considered harassment? Don't they have to have just cause to send out the Capitol police? If someone isn't threatening HIM, but complaining about his actions as their Senator, then how is that something that could POSSIBLY be actionable by police?? ...e.g., exercising free speech = no grounds for arresting someone? right? (or have we turned into an authoritarian regime overnight and I didn't notice? I mean, I know it's GOING that direction, but for someone to threaten arrest just for COMMUNICATING with a Senator- and THEIR Senator, at that- really?!? )

Ok. For how long and what’s the end game? By the way Iraq didm’t want us to stay. Well I guess we could have become occupiers. But that would have defeated one of the reason we did a regime change.
