I'm just about to head out to SnB and will eat there. Either pizza or pasta - I'm leaning towards pasta, but we'll see when I get there if any of the specials sounds good.

Not a clue what we're having other than something to go with the leftover potato salad that needs eating. Maybe some grilled shrimp or burgers or hot dogs... I dunno. And a veggie or green salad.

I have my leftovers from dinner last night. Fettucine Alfredo with tenderloin tips. I had dh pull a container of ham and bean soup from the freezer for himself.

I'm not sure what to make. If dh goes to the store I can make chicken tortilla soup. If not, I'll figure something out here. We have frozen chicken, celery and carrots. Though I think they might veto a chicken soup, since they ate so much while I was gone. Another day another recliner.

It is football game watching today. Starts at 1:00. I have grapes, carrots, all-dressed chips, cheese & crackers for the snacks for watching the game, along with beer, wine & pop. "Dinner", in-between the games will be pulled pork, homemade baked potato wedges, broccoli & garlic bread. Need something "sweet" & found a bag of Chicago mix popcorn. I will eat all the caramel popcorn. It is cold outside and don't plan on going out. I always invite people to my place so I don't have to go out into the cold.

I'm tutoring this afternoon and running errands, so I already made dinner. It will just need to be warmed up later. I made a big pan of stuffed peppers. I tried a new twist on this favorite last week but it didn't receive rave reviews, so I'm back with the classic ground beef, corn, rice, tomato stuffing. I'll make myself a WW mini pizza. To all those who are feeling poorly and struggling right now, please know you are in my thoughts. I hope this little mini-dinner community brings you some comfort and hope. I know we certainly do care about each other.

Left over stuffed pizza from last night. It was way too huge to eat more than 1 piece each. There was so much left over. There were more left overs than what we ate.
Continued thoughts and hugs to my pea family {{{{hug}}}}

I'm not sure yet. It kind of depends on if my kids are around for dinner, and I won't know for a while yet. If it's just BF and I, I might make us some patty melt sandwiches and probably tater tots. Simple, but uses up what I have on hand. If the kids are here, I'd kind of like something better like a roast, but I'd have to go to the store for that....which is fine, I guess lol.

I’m cooking a pork roast with little potatoes (from the Little Potato Company, lol). I am also cooking carrots and turnips. Chances are there will be gravy and applesauce as well. Ah scrapmaven I love the comment about being like family except we like each other. My Dad occasionally forgets that his middle daughter (there are 7 siblings, 4 boys and 3 girls) has nothing to do with the rest of the family. Long story short, she declared herself the black sheep and then made it true. He asked me yesterday what I hear from her. She hasn’t had any contact with us since my Mom passed almost 6 years ago. Crazy stuff.

We ended up having split pea soup last night ~ so good! Not sure what's on tap today. I need to think long range because there is a chance of rain every day this!

On Sunday's, I'm usually in the "I have no idea" club, but for a change I have a plan. We're having creamy sausage, broccoli, and orzo. I should make salads to go with it, but will probably just roast some vegetables instead. Salads are a pain.
Okay, so that's not really much of a plan, but it's more than I usually have.

Dd #2 has her school dance tonight. She seems sad. Probably due to ex bf. I’m really hoping she has fun.
Hope everyone has a better day.

One of my nieces (and her new boyfriend) are visiting from the East Coast, so we are headed into the city this afternoon to see them. They're staying in town with my local niece, not out in the 'burbs with the old people. Can't figure that one out. ha ha
So we are going to see the movie Three Billboards first, and then meet them for dinner at a really good Chinese place.

I think I might have over done it yesterday. I didn't feel horrible so I ran errands before the rain comes back and wanted to do it before I felt too sick. Grocery shopped at two stores, library haul for the boys, played outside and whipped up a quick one pan dinner.
I lounged in bed until after 8:30 this morning. Dh and the boys went to church and I am just relaxing now. Watching The Kitchen (LOVE this show) and starting a vacation wish list on Amazon!
I plan on letting dh choose what he wants to do for dinner.. He can either make grilled cheese or quesadillas or just go pick up a couple take and bake pizzas.

I also hope hope you feel better very soon!

After a trip to Raley's I decided on Horseradish Meatloaf for dinner and I'll be making a big pot of Vegetable Beef Soup for later in the week. And to my amazement, I was invited to join the group for the Fitbit Workweek Hustle again ~ by the girl I beat out for first place. My DS's friend who originally invited me said they need the motivation to beat me! She said she hasn't told them my age yet.

DH is cooking chicken on the grill. Not sure what we'll have with it just yet, but I hope we will eat on it for the next few days. That plan seemed to work well last week.
We eat just had a slice of king cake...yum!

Back by popular demand: Crispy Pork Belly Bao with Sriracha MayoI made this several weeks ago and DSO proclaimed it to be the best thing I have ever made. DD was in Vietnam at the time and didn't get to have it, so she's been begging me to make it again. Her boyfriend also came over for dinner. Everyone loved it, and the 4 of us devoured the big slab of pork belly. The scales were not happy with me this morning. Not my photo, but it really did look just like this:
