Can't wait! I love their sketches, especially when working on bigger projects, like travel albums. I think I might get the 4x6 first as I still have an unfinished (old) album which I started with only 4x6 pics - it would be so cool to get that one finished this year

I made copies of all of my books and put them into three notebooks (two pages per page protector).  They are full.  Now all of my notebooks are arranged by number of pictures and the originals are still in their original spines.  It is easy to take off a spine and run the pages through a copier and then put the spine back on them.  Love having both ways to access the pages and having 15 of these books to look through was getting to be too many. Not complaining though.  Keep 'em coming.

Thanks for all the nice comments! We are working hard to get the books done -- I'll have to admit that creating the sketches is one of my favorite things to do. And when I'm done with my half of the layouts -- 36 -- I'll have some well-filled albums at my house! That's always a perk for me!

Can anyone suggest your favorite sketchbooks? Print or digital? I love sketches, very excited to find SG.

I have a few different sketchbooks, both print and digital. Honestly, though, I printed out the digital ones; I don't use the digital files as-is. (quite frankly, I bought the digital ones because I was too impatient to wait for the shipping, lol.)  I three-hole punched them and keep them in a binder.  The fact that they're loose pages, though, means I can put a sketch with a page kit when I have an idea for a page layout.  One other thing I did with mine is made small labels for the bottom corner of each page, so I can get them put back into the correct book after I've taken them out of the binder.  (example label:  SG Book 8, pg 2)

I think which sketchbook you get depends on what kind of pages you do...  I have a 1-page layout book, and three or four 2-page layout books, since the majority of what I scrap is 2-pagers.  One that I own, and was very excited to get was the Travel Sketchbook, because it uses mainly 4x6 photos and has spaces for some larger photos, too.  I also just bought the first 4x6 book, since it's hard for me to crop travel photos down.

But, every sketch can be adapted for either more or less photos, and it's not too difficult to stretch a 1-pg sketch into a 2-pg layout, or just use one page of a 2-page layout.  

FYI, there are also classes for sale on the SG website on using / adapting sketches, and using 6x6 paper pads...
