Can anyone suggest your favorite sketchbooks? Print or digital? I love sketches, very excited to find SG. I love The Whole Picture and the Travel Sketches - because both of these use 4x6 photos predominantly. I also regularly buy the Sketch downloads. Recently they did a Mickey Magic one - and the nice thing is these roll out regularly, you can download them instantly, and use them quickly.

For those familiar with the SG sketch books: Which book/s currently for sale contain/s 12x12 sketches exclusively using 4x6" photos? Is/Are the book/s available with just sketches (ie no layout examples)? TIA

@rush2scrap I have all your original sketch books when they were spiral bound! And I have enjoyed everything ever since. It's interesting to see how your styles have changes and grown, just like mine has!
Anyway, I wanted to make a request/suggestion if you're ever looking for ideas! I notice when I order kits they have layouts geared around journaling cards that are various sizes from Echo Park for example. A 12x12 sheet of 4x4 journaling cards can be cut up and used throughout a few layouts in the kits. Can maybe future sketches incorporate the journaling cards? Or maybe make book of kit sketches but remove the info it relates to?
Thank you! I've spoken to you before with order help, and think you guys are so kind! You have a customer for life here!

Both books have color layout examples.

You really have been using them forever! We wore out a couple of binding machines back in the day when we were making them ourselves! That’s a great idea about the cards. In the meantime, with current sketches it might be possible to sub a 4x4 card for a 4x4 photo, etc. They keep me away from phones (LOL), but I bet you talked to my sister Karin or my daughter Stacey. They both are very good at helping people. I’m glad you had such a good experience!

I would love to see sketches that help me use up alllllll of the project life cards that sit unused in my stash. I know I could put them in place of photos and such, but I would love if there were sketches with examples and creative ways to use them.

Every other time has been Karin or Stacey, though, and they've been equally kind and helpful.

I think a lot of the sketches that have 4 x 6 photos can use the PL cards instead, or if the sketch says , I'll trim down a card a bit and use it there. I also will tuck a 3 x 4 card slightly under a photo in place of a flower embellishment. Sometimes the sketches will have a repeated shape across a page and you could punch out shapes from your cards to use them. There are also plenty of banners. Use your cards as paper and make nice banners with them. I also use my circle punch a lot to cut out just part of a card that would look good as an embellishment.
