I just finished the newest season of Rita, which is a Danish show (subtitled) about a teacher. LOVE it. I watched a couple of episodes of this but even though I kind of enjoyed it, it had a preachiness to it that irritated me. Maybe I should give it another try. I love seeing what everyday life is like in other countries.

Five Stars: Quality and engaging all around Four Stars: Engaging and very good but not perfect Three Stars: Enjoyed/Guilty Pleasure but something was annoying or lacked quality
I did not include series I started and didn't like or I don't plan on finishing anytime soon (like Call the Midwife ...I liked it and might go back some day, but it just didn't keep my full attention. Or it lost me somewhere like Walking Dead.)
I haven't finished all of these, but I have finished most of them or I plan on finishing them. There are other older series I have watched as well, but most of these are more current to me in the last couple of years or so.

I’m in the middle of Offspring and not sure if I should thank the peas or curse them, because I seriously can’t stop watching. I’m really enjoying this series!

I loved The Killing and wish they'd done a couple more seasons. It took me a while to realize that her partner was the Senator who ran against Frank Underwood in House of Cards! He also stars in the new show, Altered Carbon. I really liked it -- cool premise, but it sure is confusing to keep track of everyone. Did you know that Joel Kinnaman is Swedish? I'm always so impressed by foreign actors who can nail an American accent...to the point where he played a candidate for President.

I just started watching Queer Eye on Netflix. I was going to watch just a few minutes to see if I liked it and couldn't stop watching the first episode. (I never watched the original.) I normally detest American reality shows mainly because of all the repetition where they tell you what is coming up and then recap what they have done. This has none of that. The 5 guys meet another guy who needs a makeover - wardrobe, diet, house, relationships, hair (oh, the hair!) - and they work with him in a very kind and supportive way to make changes.

DH got me hooked on The Night Shift a drama set in a trauma center ER. I was a fan of Code Black when it was on but this one is better.

Has Atypical been mentioned yet? It's great! So refreshing! A few that aren't new, but always top my list are:
Shameless Arrested Development Sons of Anarchy The Office Blacklist Breaking Bad

Check the settings on whatever you're streaming with. It is subtitled or dubbed, you might have to adjust something. I know bc I recommended it to DH after seeing it subtitled, and he started watching while out of town and it was dubbed, but he knew I said it was subtitled so he checked and changed a setting on his laptop and voila, subtitles, no dub. Well, thanks for that tip. I didn't have any idea that you could switch between the two. I had planned on watching it again, so now that I know who everyone is and what's going on, I'm definitely going to try with subtitles next time. It's the furthest box on top right. You can switch dialogue back to German and subtitles on.

I just lost an entire weekend to When Calls the Heart. It's a cheesy, period Hallmark series that I never thought I'd be interested in, but I can't stop watching,

I'm just now watching The Killing (still in Season 2). I'm hooked. Lots of twists and turns. Can't wait to find out who Rosie's killer is.
