I have had my chin, lip and eyebrows waxed in the past. Over the past month or so I have noticed that my ordinarily nonhairy legs are now hairy! I have thought about waxing just the bottom half. How painful is leg waxing? Would I have to do anything to prepare for it? Thanks!

Non hairy legs??? Never heard of such!! I get so few hairs on my legs that they're essentially non- hairy. Every few weeks I notice one or two hairs and just pull them out by hand.

I have my brows, lips, underarms and hoo-ha waxed with no problem. I can not handle my legs being waxed. To me it hurts like h3ll.
My Nana was part American Indian and she had hardly any hair on her body. I wish I would've gotten her hair gene (or lack of).

I get a half leg wax every few weeks. It hurts a bit but I personally think eyebrows are worse. Waxing them always make me sneeze.

I have waxed my lower legs since I was about 18 I have never shaved or anything else. Obviously it stings, no point pretending, but not as much as bikini area for example. and obviously it's a bigger area so it takes longer to do so the stinging goes on for a bit longer but so worth it. The only preparation is to ensure the hair is long enough but if you don't generally shave then they should be anyway. I found the hair has vastly reduced over the years so your would probably disappear after a few goes

I don't have very hairy legs, but I do get the bottom half waxed. I actually don't think it hurts that much at all. Maybe I'm less sensitive there, but waxing ANYTHING on my face hurts like a mother, and no matter how low the heat of the wax is set, I have to plaster my face with aloe vera gel for a solid 12 hours afterwards or I look like a burn victim. Happens every. single. time.
