Hello there!! Every Monday in the month of February, I will be hosting a little game of Scrappy Tic Tac Toe. The rules are simple...make a layout using three items that appear in a row on the game board below. You can pick a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row. 2 peas challenges by Christine C68, on Flickr You have until March 5th to create a NEW layout or card based on this challenge. When you complete the challenge let us know you by posting in this thread and if you like, include a picture. Here's my layout using the items on the game board. 2 peas challenges by Christine C68, on Flickr

christinec68 Thank you for the challenge! I love your layout. I have that line of paper and would NEVER had thought to use pink with the floral paper. It looks great and makes the photo really stand out.

I can't wait to see what you all come up with!! mikklynn I think the scribble dot paper and some of the embellishments brings it together since they have all the colors. It's a pretty collection, isn't it? By next week, I hope to figure out how to not post gigantic pictures...Ha!!

By next week, I hope to figure out how to not post gigantic pictures...Ha!! There are a couple ways to make your layout smaller when you post it here. When it is already in your post you can click edit then click on your layout and sliders will come up on the corners which you can place your cursor on and slide them to the size you want. Just go slowly so you don't skew the layout. The easier way is when you are in the gallery you click on the arrow to share it and you want to copy the BB Code the box under where the code comes up has a drop down and you can choose which size you want it to be. I hope that helps you and that you can understand what I am trying to explain

I choose to do the centre vertical row - phrase sticker, deco edge, yellow) used sketch #178 from Sketch Savvy sketchsavvy.blogspot.com/2017/04/sketch-178.htmlbackground is grey cardstock - with an orange with yellow irregular dots pp as the triangle with torn edge. My main photo was horizontal 4x6 and matted in black, my smaller photo is 3x2.5 and also matted in black. There's a yellow cardstock rectangle vertically -under the left edge of the larger photo and right edge of the smaller. My title is orange letter stickers above the photos/yellow rectangle. handwritten caption under the main photo. QK stegasaurus die cut in yellow on a grey 2" punched circle with a yellow "vacation time" phrase sticker for my embellishment cluster. photo by DS at Legoland Japan

Love your challenge, christinec68. Hmmm... So many ways to go with this. Gorgeous page, too. Love all the happy colours and how you made them work so well together! I tried to leave some love in the Gallery, but your page is still locked away in your private challenge planning album. If you get a chance, and if you don't mind it being public now, you could go to the 2peas Gallery, click on Add Photo and move it over. Hoping the glitches at Flickr are resolved so we can see your page, Chinagirl828. Looking forward to seeing your page. And looking forward to seeing what mamakoala unleashed on a full day of scrapping can do! Off to link this to the Talk & Tally thread and to check out the other challenges to see what else was going on while I was sleeping...

Okay. Here is mine. Up the left side: larger photo, glitter vinyl, and enamel dots. And I added a scalloped border (center item) for good measure. Even though this is my dgd, I couldn't quite figure out how to add flowers to a hockey page, so I changed direction and did the left vertical line instead of the diagonal. christinec68 thanks for the challenge! Here's my take...diagonal using enamel dots, deco edge & 3+ PP. Black enamel dots, corners and arrows, the small squares and large beige square are torn using a ruler and then distressed, and washi tape is ripped. Edges of paper show up better IRL than in the scanned photo and 4 different patterned papers!! Glad I am keeping up so far because I leave for Florida in a few days...

Thanks, woodysbetty . Love that page design with the four distinct canvasses on one page. You used a lot of those prompts! Here is my facing page. Will use it for the Weekend Workout 1 STRETCH challenge. It will go into the album to the left of the one above. Title and journaling are on this one. I added a few more of the CTMH fabric stars after I posted this photo to kind of balance it with the facing page. Whatever you do 1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

What a cute page mamakoala! Did you cut out and place all those hexagons? Love the mix of patterns. Perfect for this page of being "odd" but "#one". Also love how you scattered the enamel dots and othr little bits around the cute photos.

christinec68, thank you for the challenge. I will have to delve into my photos and decide which way my Tic Tac Toe will go. Fun challenge. I love your inspiration layout. Those paper choices are wonderful. That photo really pops! grammadee, I didn't realize that was your granddaughter. She's a brave little gal out on that ice. Great pages! I left love in the gallery. scrapincin, thanks for the directions on linking to gallery and posting. I know I couldn't have done it without your help when I first started posting here. You are the best!! mamakoala, that is such a cute layout. I love all your hexagons. I need to pull out my punches and use them this month. Thanks for the inspiration. woodysbetty, I love the grid on your layout. Each of your segments reinforce your theme. I'm identifying with "wake me when winter is over." Beautiful page. Chinagirl828, I am sorry that Flikr is having issues. Hope they are fixed soon. Linda, your page sound wonderful. Susan Stringfellow's designs are my favorite, so I know your layout looks great. My week is busy so I don't know how much I will get done. I have an idea for this one, but just don't have much time today to work on it. If I finish 10 layouts total this month it will be a BIG record for me!

My tic-tac-toe was across the bottom row. Larger than 4x6 (since I combined them,) yellow sprinkled in where I could, and 3+ patterned papers. I'm going to tuck a journaling card under the photo block on the right side. One of my DDs from this past Halloween. christinec68, I really like your paper choices. It's such a happy page. I think it's the yellow that made the biggest difference grammadee, the glitter on your pages make me think of ice. Nice touch. Cool pages! woodysbetty, you have that sticker that says "little details." Right before I spotted it I was thinking, wow you have so much detail on your page. I really like it. mamakoala, I just love that face. What a great photo! I'm thinking I'd like to scraplift your hex diagonal. Great work RefuPeas! And thanks for the challenge christinec68 !

msliz , that is such a cute page. I have a granddaughter who is an Eeyore lover too. I love your photos matted together and those cute tree papers. Love it. This went faster than I thought. Maybe I need a deadline to get scrapping faster. My tic-tac-toe was Phrases stickers, Deco edges and Yellow and I added a couple of enamel dots for good measure.
