Eh up ducks! Every week in February I bring you Template Tuesday. And not just any template, oh no. These are the best templates for miles around, made to exercise your creative muscles. To that end here's the first template, the 12 By 12. 2Peas Template Tuesday 06Feb by Jane Bradbury, on Flickr Like me, you may not be a Twelver so I made a couple of other templates, one for a greeting card: 2Peas Template Tuesday 06 Feb Card by Jane Bradbury, on Flickr The card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches And one for a pocket card: 2Peas Template Tuesday 06 Feb Pocket Card by Jane Bradbury, on Flickr The pocket card measures 6 x 4 inches, although that could easily work for 4 x 3 inches too. If you use Photoshop you can download the templates from Dropbox here (I hope!) - 2Peas-06Feb17Here's one I made earlier...You can't have a challenge without examples... 2Peas Template Tuesday 06 Feb by Jane Bradbury, on Flickr Supplies: mainly from I Heart You digital kit by Mommyish at The Lilypad. Word strips from all over the place including Pixels & Co and Sugarplum Paperie. Ribbon, ric-rac and staple from Shabby Princess. Here's a look at my card and pocket card examples. My pocket card is different to the template because, well I made an error in resizing which I fixed one I'd made my version. 2peas Template Challenge Extra by Jane Bradbury, on Flickr Supplies: for the pocket card I used the same as the layout above. For the birthday card I used Neopolitan Summer by Amber Clegg (many of my digital supplies are years old!), the font is Abracadabra Typeface from The Hungry JPEG. Full details of supplies can be found in my Template Tuesday The First blog post. You have until March 5th to create a NEW layout or card based on this challenge. When you complete the challenge let us know you by posting in this thread and, if you'd like to, do include a picture.

Ooh my brain is already ticking over with all the other shapes I could use instead of squares. Great template (and gorgeous examples!) and I can't wait to have some time to play with this one.

I've been getting my ideas together. But I have a whole lot of scraps in my scrap drawer to sort through first, so it might be awhile before I have something.

Thanks, JaneB, for the ideas and your beautiful examples. I'm a 8.5x11 scrapper so I may need to do a card. I need to dig through my mountain of scraps!

Thanks, JaneB , for the ideas and your beautiful examples. I'm a 8.5x11 scrapper so I may need to do a card. I need to dig through my mountain of scraps! i used 1.5" squares on mine and it seemed to come out ok. pretty sure my photo is 3x5. a card from you would be lovely, though, too

oh man! This challenge was a TOUGH one and my card looks more like a pinterest FAIL than it does like JaneB 's lovely examples. It's done though and I'm VERY glad I didn't attempt a whole layout. I used coordinating scraps of Christmas paper and some scraps of matching red and green cardstock on a white card blank, My sentiment is computer generated on white and I added a gold gem.

Okay. Tell me why I take on challenges that require me to cut straight lines and then line up things on an angle? Not really in my skill set... And I set out to use scraps, but of course this new paper collection was on top of my desk, so I just cut up the full pages. sisters forever by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

You can have a gold star to go with that gold gem And I bet it doesn't look that bad at all. You're right, it is a tough challenge; I think they get easier after this one - slightly! And you can keep the template to practice later in the year, how excellent is that?

You are superb at that, you might need to give lessons

The name on the package says "Caroline". Got it as part of a February scrapbooking kit.

I made a valentine for my bff. I had to sneak that scrap with the bird on it because I love it so much. The grey pieces were printables I've had for a long time. Never thought I would use them.

Oh my gosh. I have been going through my scrap drawer today and I'm about halfway through now.
What the heck is wrong with me? Why have I kept all these freaking tiny bits of paper? It's a sickness!
Cleaning up now so I can make a layout, several striped borders, and a few background papers. Aye aye aye!

I did it again. Was ready to send and hit something and lost the whole long post. Aargh! Linda , I agree that this was a hard challenge. It is so much out of my comfort zone, but I think I like it now that it's finished. I'm sure yours is great too. stinkerbelle , I love your Christmas colors. That would have been a good idea for me. I have lots of pieces around. Those noses are so cute in your photo. Turned out wonderful! grammadee , I love your squares mounted on the black. Such a pretty color too. I also wondered if you had used Nuvo for your writing. Those stickers were perfect. Beautiful page. @elaynef , I love the chalkboard squares. Those are wonderful printables. I am glad you added the bird and that big red flower. Very pretty. Here is mine. I know it doesn't follow the template exactly, but I don't do anything digitally so wouldn't know how to use a template anyway! LOL. I just cut all the squares. Some fit better than others. I'm blaming my paper trimmer, of course. Concentration by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Day 6 Template Challenge. A traditional paper scrapbook page for me today. Jane, I thought you "had" me on this one, but once I put my thinking cap on, it came together quite easily. Thank you for challenging us. I apologize for the picture of the "boys." I usually print on an "as needed basis"( as I often do digital ) & I didn't have a 6"x8" photo, so printed it out on my home printer, until I get to town. I used a lot of Echo Park The Apothecary Emporium & My Mind's Eye Frightful Halloween paper. I am totally a sucker for Halloween but you are looking at our only 2 annual trick or treaters, as we live out in the country. I beg these neighbor boys to stop in every year & try to make it worth their while with full size candy bars. I take a picture every year (I am lucky they will stand still for that) & hope to give them a small album at graduation. IMG_1567 by Pati Nuce, on Flickr

JaneB thanks for the challenge!! It really gave me a few hours of fun!! Did a random page about the Eagles winning Superbowl, my journaling outlines that we watched with friends without really caring about the game as our teams weren't in it. But the game was so exciting we were glued to the set!! Fun time!

patin, what a great neighbor you are to entice those kids with big candy bars. Such a fun idea to make them graduation albums. They will love it. I love the papers you put together for this challenge. So Halloween-y against the black. Love it. Left you love in the gallery. woodysbetty, it looks like you really used a lot of different scraps. I love the fun colors and variety of patterns. I find that hard to do. This turned out so nice. Fun thing to scrap the Super Bowl. LOL

nylene - You are right it was just a bunch of random scraps that I happily punched into squares...kind of a nice way to empty my scrap basket...the trick was to punch and not look or worry about what matched or didn't. Somehow it just worked, or I decided not to care!! LOL!!
