Can someone explain the basics of KP releases? What time? Is her stuff easy to get or is subbing better? Does she have a pocket kit, is that the project kit? I’m so confused.

Me too! I just finished my annual rereading of the entire Anne series, I am hoping I can get one as I am back at school tomorrow and since it is the first day I will be pretty busy. I need that stamp to put in my PEI scrapbook. I thought of you today. Nightmare before Christmas popped up on my FB feed today someone has a wax melter thing out with jack this fall. Oh thank you! I just googled, it is Scentsy, I am totally going to get one!

Can someone explain the basics of KP releases? What time? Is her stuff easy to get or is subbing better? Does she have a pocket kit, is that the project kit? I’m so confused. She releases her stuff on the 28th of every month. Sale opens at noon Eastern time to everyone, but subscribers get to start shopping at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time with a special password for the shop. Subscribers also get a code to use at checkout to save 15% off anything they buy on the website. That percentage will bump up to 20% in early October, and will last until the end of the year. Additionally, subscribers who buy extras on the 28th and 29th will get a portion of their shipping costs refunded after their orders ship. Those orders are bundled with their monthly kits, which are supposed to ship no later than the 5th of the following month. My orders typically ship by the end of the month. The project kit is designed for pocket scrapbooking. It used to just be the kit of the month, but she changed the name when she introduced a subscription for just the project kit stamp. The project kit is only $4 more than just getting the stamp,so I'd get it because the cards and alphabet stickers are worth that to me. Subscriptions are 3, 6, and 12 months long, with cheaper prices for longer subs. She has a third subscription for traveler's notebook kits. Those are usually designed by Life.Love.Paper, so I personally buy those when I like the kit that month. If you like the looks of her Christmas stuff typically, I'd suggest getting a 3 month sub to the kit of your choice. It will give you a discount on the holiday items, you'll get first access to them, and you'll get first access to the Black Friday sales, where stuff does sell out super fast.

I’m excited about the project kit—which I subscribe to. I’ll take my chances on the rest until the 20% begins. I want to grab all the coordinating lowercase alphas. I think I'll hold off on the lowercase alphas too, but I am getting that swag bag and probably the reading stamp set. I love "Anne of Green Gables," which means I have to get the swag set. I really did like last month's swag set, and I'm glad I got it. I hope she offers the cards from the other sets as a stand alone item during Black Friday. Anne and Madeline! Where's Pippi? And the titian-haired Nancy Drew?

The new book set she'll be releasing at the end of the month includes a big 'newstand', one S, not two as required. It makes it very hard to find the $17.50 value in those 4x6 sets, honestly. The irony of having misspellings in a stamp set about the impact of the written word... I wouldn't dare use this in my album and English isn't even my first language. The email she sent out this morning shows a properly spelled newsstand - maybe there was time to fix it before the stamps were sold! Glad to hear the stamp set got fixed in time!

The Project Life kit this month is NOT FOR ME. We are happily child free and the thing doesn't work for us. So I'll probably just sell it in a facebook group.

I purchased the check-in and the summertime swag bags, and I love the interesting bits. My childhood favorites are not on the stamps and just one made the checklist 3x4 card. Yet, I will totally use the concept to tell a counter narrative of what I did read and the heroines that I loved. I'm certainly going to just create my own version of the stamps and the checklist 3X4 as comparison. I'm surprised Scout didn't make the list, she's still a favorite!

I'm kind of surprised she didn't have anything about "Sweet Valley High" on the check list. The whole kit screams 1980s young girl reading list to me, especially with the pizza sticker. I need to find some of my pictures from that era and write about the Pizza Hut book deals. I'm also a little surprised that there was nothing about Scholastic book fairs that I could see. Also, nothing about "Little House on the Prairie," but she might relate that more to the tv show than the book series, which is a shame. I know a lot of people love Scout, but I don't remember a lot of girls my age reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" when they were younger.

So shouldn’t she have been following the reading trends of the early 90s instead of the 80s? Which aren’t terribly dissimilar, but I do remember having to read TKAM for school.

If anyone's a traveler's notebook subscriber and doesn't care for the stamp set, I'd love to buy it from you. I love The Good Place, but the rest of the kit doesn't really appeal to me. I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd mention it.

Ok, the book swag bag is just too American for me. I've never even read Madeline (and it took me snooping through this thread to figure out who the girl on the French stamp was). It's just not famous here. Sigh. I was about to drop some money at KP's but I don't think it's going to happen this month.
Has anybody seen a visual of all the gold foil cards in this month's swag bag?

I'm a few years younger. The Goosebumps series were big in Europe in the 1990s. I don't even know what the pizza sticker refers to. This swag bag is turning into a mystery of its own the more I look at it and I've always been an avid reader.

I was thrilled with the book-themed items during sneaks...but not so much now. I think as I just did a big supply purge I'm very conscious about what I'm purchasing right now.

Well crap, I'm a sucker.
I fell victim to a bunch of past 3x4 card kits. I love my weekly PL spreads with her goodies and I never utilize the stamps enough to justify the price. Wish the 4x6 cards had been include but oh well.

I also like the Love Language digital stamp. Kelly doesn't offer digitals for everything. It is nice to see.

These are definitely late 80s/early 90s girls books. I'm happy with it, as I am around KP's age. I can definitely see how this would be a limiting release, unless you spin it like you plan to. 🙂

This month’s kit (and some of the new stamps) sucked me back into a subscription. I hope the next two months are awesome.
