Happy Friday! Welcome to day 9 of 28-4-28 I will post inspiration from a Pea every week for you to be inspired by. You can be inspired by the general layout, the theme, the colors, whatever makes you happy! Just create something NEW for each challenge and share that you did it and either a picture or a description of what you did so we can all be inspired! This can be a layout, a card, digital, whatever you are inspired to make. Today we will be inspired by oaksong  IMG_6060 by Oaksong, on Flickr This Layout just drew me in. It is a pocket page but I chose to make a 12 X 12. I loved her layered embellished squares with tags and pop dots. I also like the consistency of her use of twine all the way through. I love the way she really stuck with her theme and let her photos shine.

Love that Pocket Page, oaksong. Have a great weekend away. Your lift is AWESOME, DawnMcD. Love how you expanded the size to 12 x 12 and applied the pocket page style to a "traditional" LO. Those layered clusters are the crowning touch! I will link this challenge to the Talk & Tally thread now. Can't wait to see what everyone does with it. |

 I love this sketch, too... and it came together very quickly. I would have been searching for a sketch for those pictures for a long time and this was perfect for them. It is thanksgiving and we had lots of family together. I have 6 more albums to put these in and this will make that fast and easy. |

Great page oaksong I love those little tags on the string at the bottom, so cute! I love your LO DawnMcD those embellishments clusters are awesome! Great work @elaynef , I love it when a LO comes together fast and easy and they are great photos, fab to have them done! Here's mine, I just went with a grid and heavy embellishing. I busted out some oldish Basic Grey, Highline and also some other BG embellishments that I had. It's great to have some of these things on a LO, and I love my LO, so happy with it! That's always a bonus eh lol!  |

I love all the photos and love seeing snow pictures (I am in Fl). kiwigirl those colors are so beautiful and really pop. Here is my lift. I used 12x12, lifted the grid photo placement. I know some people use the pocket pages all the time, but I find them more of a challenge than I am ready to take on this morning, so I went "old school". Still need to do the journaling, but I didn't want to touch it until the Glossy Accents on the title dries.  let's party by Gramma Dee, on Flickr |

DawnMcD, great choice. I was ooohing and aweing over it early today on the other thread. I like your take on it and love the layers on your card spots. @elaynef, You are fast! Great job. kiwigirl, loving the bright colors and how it pops against the black. grammadee, beautiful layout. I like the photo collage and that title. Can't wait to do this one.

Those photo and pp blocks really pop against the white, stinkerbelle, and I really like the scalloped border strip. |

@elaynef It is perfect for your photos. I like how warm and cozy your layout is. Love that marble background. kiwigirl I am so in love with your layout. The bright colors and highlighting of one photo is perfect. grammadee I really like how you adjusted the grid to accommodate your photos. Love the gloss on the title as well. stinkerbelle this is so fun. I love the black outline and the way the sequins break the boundaries of the grid. |

This is the "Lift the Peas" challenge. I couldn't begin to lift oaksong's beautiful undersea layout, but as I was doing Jane's template challenge I knew I wanted to do a companion page to my Halloween layout as either a pocket page layout or a grid-type layout documenting my husband's Halloween village. Another "pocket page" that isn't pockets. I've had this overlay for a long time. I actually used it as inspiration to learn to make my own with my Silhouette. I'm too cheap to keep paying between $5 and $8 each for them. Until today, I hadn't used the one I bought.

I like how you used the overlay, gramma. One reason I struggle with pockets is finding exactly the right number, size and orientation of photos. I love how you are not afraid to split a photo over more than one square or use a diecut on pp instead of a pic in a space. |

I think I worried and stewed about this one more than any other. I am not sure this will count for this challenge, but it's the direction it took. I can see why I don't do pocket pages! gramma a guy who loves photos can’t be all bad  I love how you have so many photos without it feeling crowded! On your second spread, I love that you filled all the spots with photos instead of just a few I struggle with sports pages but you really hit this one out of the park! mikklynn your photos are the real stars but your embellies look fab too! nylene whatever direction your layout went, I’m glad it did because I love this grid page! I especially like the rounded corners and fun embellie on the upper left
