The little packs of embellishments at Hobby Lobby look a lot like the ones from Making Memories. I have a bunch of both kinds in my stash.

I used an old metal MM embellishment on a layout recently and thought the same thing about how much I miss them! I remember when the aisles at Michael's were filled with their stuff...oh the good old days.

Their tools were my favorites. I loved everything they did scrapbooking wise. Their Noteworthy line was divine. I still don’t understand why they went the route they did towards the end. Those awards things were just dumb. They should have stuck to what they did best.

Those awards things were just dumb. They should have stuck to what they did best. Noteworthy was my favorite!!! I remember what a huge deal it was, in every magazine and everyone was using it. When they announced Noteworthy II, I went into a scrapbook store in the town I just moved to and asked if they would be carrying it. I was flabbergasted when the owner had never heard of it. Man, I bought so much of that line, over and over and over...

I loved a lot of their embellishments too but don’t have a lot left. I used one of their old fabric tags on a page this last week.
I also loved their noteworthy lines but aside from a journaling book and a few pieces of trim I have nothing left.

I didn’t really use a lot of their embellishments but did have a few tools I think.

I have more MM embellishments from the early to mid 2000's than I should probably admit. I've been into the new items lately, I should probably use some of my older stuff...

My favorite scrappy company ever. I bought so much of their stuff I have tons of it in my stash. Yes, still. I didn’t buy every line but the ones I liked, I bought all I could get my hands on. I miss their presence. Would have loved to see where they evolved to at this point in the game.

They were my all time favorite!!! I still have hoards of their supplies, tons of metals & i especially collected the Noteworthy collection.
I remember rushing out to buy entire collections of embellishments when it would hit the shelves. Nothing has caught my attention in the scrapbook industry like MM did. I miss them so very much!

I,too, loved all things MM. Noteworthy was awesome, and I still have a few sheets of it along with quite a nice stash of other papers. I also have tools and embellishments that I recently brought into the light of day, and I am loving it all again and am using some it.
BTW: I found the tag maker(at a garage sale)that made those metal tags, but I need the directions and some metal frames.

Basically, you cut the paper to fit the inside and then use the tag maker to cinch/fold/crease the metal. Does that make sense? Another Making Memories fan here. I still have a healthy collection of metal embellishments in my hoard stash

I miss MM too!! Passport was my favorite travel line of all time. Still have a bunch left. They also made really good rub ons. Especially the alpha in the rectangular booklet. I still have a few of those. A lot of the tools I still use are by MM.

So funny you said that about the rub ons, that's one of the things in my stash I recently rediscovered and used!

I loved their rub on alphabets. The quality was so much better than any other brand and they were so easy to use - especially in those little slim books with the screw holding all the pages together. I stalked them on e-bay for quite a while and still have a few books left, They are probably over 10 years old and still work fine.

Such great stuff. I don't feel like there are very many companies, if any, in the industry that captures as much as MM did. They did so many things well and that is scarce nowadays!

Noteworthy was my favorite MM collection, too. I bought the whole line, then won the collection from the Making Memories blog! I still have tons of it, somewhere. I need to pull it out and use it!

I still have a bunch of those alpha rub ons. Amazing how they still work while other brands don’t even last a year. I had a lot of their embellishments and that great paper trimmer.
Their customer service was outstanding. I remember when they came out with those acrylic paints and people had trouble with the lids. MM made it known that if you contacted them they’d replace every one of your lids with their improved model. They also had great classes at the conventions and CKUs. They were very generous with product as well. You’d use one or two papers from the package and you got to keep the rest.

OMG! I just made a bunch of Valentine cards using some old MM embellishments and was thinking how much I miss them. I even did a search online to search to see if they were still around (yeah, it's been a while since I've shopped). Thankfully I have a big stash I can still pull from including metal and acrylic frames, brads, papers and rub-ons. I still love their stuff.

I have tons of their stuff! I have so many eyelets and brads. I also have some of the metal embellishments to go on ribbons. I need to pull out some of it and use it.
How many of you still have the foam alpha stamps? I bought so many sets of those things and did not use them very much.
