Trump: "...and you go one further step and that's the movies. ... maybe they have to put a rating system for that," he added. wait, but we already have... never mind. I forgot who was talking, there, for a minute. “Fla. sheriff's deputy on duty at high school when 17 were killed took up position outside building, but didn't enter.” well, OBVIOUSLY, this matter is solely the FBI director's fault, and he should be fired immediately!! /sarcasm

"I will be strongly pushing Comprehensive Background Checks with an emphasis on Mental Health," Trump wrote on Twitter. "Raise age to 21 and end sale of Bump Stocks! Congress is in a mood to finally do something on this issue - I hope!" Could this be done by Executive Order? Just wondering how committed he is? (Or is way off base to even ask?)

This comment tells us two things..
1. The Republicans have “dismissed” Bernie Sanders as a potential threat in 2020.
2. But they are going to use the fact that Sanders is an acknowledged socialist and ran as a Democratic to try paint the entire Democratic Party as now the Socialist party.

‘I just don’t know what that means’: Trump gets completely lost during meeting on school shootingsBrad Reed BRAD REED 22 FEB 2018 AT 14:05 ET www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCBBN3SPBDIPresident Donald Trump on Thursday appeared to get completely lost during a discussion on preventing school shootings being held at the White House. During the talk, Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill talked about active measures that schools can take during shootings that can go into effect automatically without the police even being on the scene. “We also have countermeasures that can be employed by the sheriff’s department within seconds to contain the attacker and in a sense turn the attack on them,” Hill said. “That is a critical piece.” A confused Trump asked him to explain the concept of countermeasures. “I just don’t know what that means,” he said. “Honestly, I don’t know what that means.” More at link: www.rawstory.com/2018/02/just-dont-know-means-trump-gets-completely-lost-meeting-school-shootings/I believe this is about the 'Safest School' ..... www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/inside-the-safest-school-in-america-1166029891710 Wow, after watching that piece, it was obvious that Trump wasn’t even listening a little bit to what the principal was saying!

Ok, what about the sanctions against Russia, you know the ones Congress passed and you signed. The sanctions that had a deadline to be implemented and you ignored. What about those sanctions?

“Here's one sentence from Ronald Reagan's 1977 CPAC speech that President Trump might want to embrace: "Elected officials, their appointees, and government workers are expected to perform their public acts with honesty, openness, diligence, and special integrity."
trump and his gang have decided to embrace corruption. Those words mean nothing to them.

“Trump condemns gun-free zones at CPAC.
CPAC applauds wildly.
CPAC is a gun-free zone.”
I saw that, no guns allowed. How come?
I understand trump’s speech has a) gone longer than planned and b) most of its reliving the 2016 election.
I can’t imagine being that needy that you have to constantly receive affirmation about something that happened over a year ago.

“Florida Gov. Rick Scott says "all individuals purchasing firearms" will be required to be 21 or older, with exceptions for military and law enforcement. abcn.ws/2CfVedi”
Just exactly how is that going to stop mass shootings. Yesterday someone posted the ages of the Las Vegas shooter and the San Bernadino shooter and the Orlando nightclub shooter. All were over 21.
The common denominator in all the shootings? The type of weapon they used.
Why isn’t something being done about that?

According to Federal law you have to be 21 to buy a hand gun. But for some reason Florida decided that didn’t apply to AR-15s. Nor do you have to wait 3 days like you would for a hand gun. From The NY Times.. “Florida has a three-day waiting period for handgun purchases. But anyone without a felony record, domestic abuse conviction, or a handful of other exceptions — such as a commitment to a mental institution — can walk into a gun store, wait a few minutes to clear a background check, and walk out with an AR-15 -style rifle, magazines and ammunition. Under federal law, you also must be 21 to buy a handgun from a firearms dealer. But 18-year-olds can buy semiautomatic rifles.” Why would any rational person think this is ok? So respectfully I disagree because this shouldn’t have been the situation needed to be “fix” in the first place and it’s just window dressing and ignoring the real problem. And the real problem is this country has a “gun problem” and the proof is that little snippet above from The NY Times.

“I've figured out why Trump is having trouble with the idea that the @fbi can do more than one investigation at the same time: It's that the name Federal Bureau of Investigation is singular. Maybe if we changed it to Federal Bureau of InvestigationS (plural) he'd understand.”
He may have a point here. 😀

“Rick Gates is now the 5th person who has plead guilty in the Mueller probe: • Gates • Flynn • Papadopoulos • Pinedo • Van Der Zwann
Gates is the 3rd member of the Trump campaign who has plead guilty.”
So either trump is knee deep in this or he has the worst taste in picking people to surround/work for him.
A strong case could be made for the latter when you look at who trump surrounds himself or he could be just as corrupt as the people he surrounds himself with.

trump at his little answer questions thing..
Kushner is being treated unfairly because of his lack of betting a permeant security clearance.
Really? After over a year this guy can’t get what thousands of other White House personal have manage to get in a timely manner over the years. Mostly due to him “forgetting” things that should be on his security application. He’s too young to have these memory lapses. With these memory lapses he shouldn’t be working at the White House at all.

NBC.... “Trump on Jared Kushner's clearance, security clearance policy at the White House: "We inherited a system that is broken ... That will be up to General Kelly" Its always someone else’s fault. it couldn't be because your son in law is shady as f%ck in his business dealings, now, could it?!? no... that CAN'T be it! I've heard a number of interviews with Malcom Nance (former Navy, intelligence and foreign policy analyst-- VERY intelligent man!!) where he's said things about their lack of clearances- he said he's NEVER heard of anyone being 'unclearable' before this administration, and in his experience, if someone couldn't get their security clearance post-haste, they would be shown the door and booted from their job ASAP as a major security / blackmail risk. But since Trump's whole administration thus far is one huge security risk clusterfu%k, I guess security clearance issues are just par for the course. ETA: OMG, I canNOT BELIEVE anyone actually OKAYED that money-wasting farce of a parade!!! for Veteran's Day, yet- heck- on Veteran's Day, we should be doing a parade for THEM, and the service-people should be relaxing on the sidelines, not the other way around!!
