Great photos, but I'm trying to figure out where the rest of the gorilla is. For as big as he, one would think you could see some of his bottom half in the photo.

I think the out of focus curve at the bottom of the pic is the font car seat so it's probably just out of sight. I know what you mean though |

It didn't win,but I have a soft spot for the lilac-breasted roller on the zebra shot as I have captured similar scenes myself. The gorilla shot/s, the eyes, OMG!

So so beautiful. I must say I wish I had this kind of gift, the gift of capturing majestic beauty.
That lilac-breasted roller is gorgeous. Those colours make me swoon. I'm off to check out what his wife looks like. I bet she is brown.
ETA Nope, both sexes have the same coloration. And the colours vary quite a bit and some look like watercolours. A quick peek at Google images will have your peepers thanking you.
