One of my friends just posted about this on facebook. The back and forth texts seem like clear sexual harassment. But I see a lot of people in the comments claiming this supervisor's ongoing texts are "no big deal." As always, was wondering what the peas think.
She told him 5 times NO. She wanted to maintain a professional relationship, she explained she didn’t see him that way, he still pursued, she flat out told him to stop, and he still pursued. You could tell she was uncomfortable from the get go.
It’s clear to me his advances were wanted from the get go.

Yeah, but she put a vacation picture of herself, in a bikni, on Facebook. Therefore she asked for it. *Sarcasm* The comments just make me shake my head. It is 2018 for god sake and a big chunk of the population is primitive.
I read Google has a you can only ask for a date once if the person says no (eta). That seems fair enough - a superior should never date someone under them - but I prefer the old don't get your honey where you make your money.
You are allowed to ask ONCE. ONE single solitary time and if the answer is anything other than a resounding "YES!!!", you stop asking and move on with your life - otherwise, it's fucking harassment. God that guy was completely pathetic.
