I will feel that later. I take a bath in the am if I'm hurting, it helps relax my legs. I've been having issues with them so it helps. Anyway I was reaching for my towel and I think I leaned over a little too far! I landed on my side. I let out a yelp. I hit between my bra line and my stomach. It's just super tender so I think it's high enough it's not a rib. But I'll bet it's gonna be black and blue tomorrow. I have a Naproxen script, hopefully that will help the soreness. But I felt old and silly! lol! I'm only 44! I've never fallen in the tub before. Dh came running as heard me hit the tub and me kinda yelp I didn't scream He's just telling me he heard the thud!. He helped me and didn't see any bruising just red where I hit.
Anywho - I just feel stupid!
11/20 - so this morning I freaked myself out! I got out of the shower and noticed my left breastside was a greenish color, then I noticed two more smaller dark bruises.I didn't think I hit that high but it must have. I kinda scared myself because it's also the same arm/should breast area where my pacer is. I noticed it's red. Dh reminded me it takes a few days as with me I bruise easily we we're expecting. i wasn't expecting it there! LOL! It's been ok just a little sore between the breast line and waist. when I lay on that side. I actually did talk to my dr today with the trial meds I'm on. My 2nd thought was the extra bruising could be from the medicine.. I did look for stuff you guys suggested but couldn't find it two places.. but I haven't been to our pharmacy yet as we were waiting for one of Dh's scripts so I'll check there for sure now or is it too late? I didn't mention it to the Dr? I figured it was a little later..

I fell flat on my face trying to unzip my boot a few weeks ago - I'm 57 and do the clumsiest things these days!
OP get some arnica on the area!

uksue, where as I know that didn't feel good, and I have felt myself start to topple unzipping boots before, the picture in my head of it makes me giggle at how cartoonist it must look. Hope your beautiful face is uninjured.

Yeah that is never a good thing for sure. BFF's daughter fell in the shower and she needed stitches. That scared me when you wrote it. I was expecting the worst. My across the board advice is don't fall ever. Ever. I am glad you have an Rx for Naproxen because that will take some of the pain away. Ouch. xoxox

Arnica relieves pain for some people as well as aid healing.
Plastic surgeons give out arnica tablets to patients here in the U.K. I use the gel .

I fell a few months ago because I got off balance putting my pants on. I hurt for a full week and I didn't hit the side of a tub. I hope you don't hurt too badly.

I hope you don't hurt too badly. I panicked for half a sec cause I wasn't sure, it just kinda took my breath away for a minute. And it happend so fast! It's just really sore but the naproxin does seem to help so we'll see how it goes.. hope you are doing ok! Thank you all, it seems so silly when you feel clumsy and hurt yourself! |

I debated insta care this morning but i don't know what much they would do it's starting to bruise some just below my breast line.. where I hit. and then just above my hip. I slept on heating pad last night. I just can't lean over very far. |
