I've had a 6x8 album lying around forever and I'd like to use it. I've never scrapped this size before, though. I've gotten used to scrapping 8x8 for weekend getaway albums and I like that size. I've gotten pretty good at fitting 3-4 pictures per page but sometimes use one 4x6 picture or two square pictures. I think maybe I work better with a square space but I'm determined to use that album. So if you scrap 6x8 tell me how many pictures you typically use per page and what size they are.
Thanks!

I have two 6x8 albums. Most of my photos are 4x6 horizontals and 3x4 verticals, and some full page 6x8s. I use SNAP albums, and they sell some fun packs with some interesting configurations, like pages with twelve 2x2 squares.
I use other odd shaped photos too, like 3x3s or 4x4s, and I just put them on a 6x8 background paper and make a mini scrapbook page for them.

msliz, I hadn't thought of using 6x8 pictures. Great idea! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Lately, I've been ordering 3x4 photos. The size has become my go-to because they work with 6x8, and they also work with 8x8 or 12x12 if you suddenly decide to add other pictures (especially "old" 4x6). I have also found that Fujifilm Europe print 6x9cm (2,4 x3,5 inches) and that works pretty well too. Just in case it can be useful to you.

I like 3x4 for smaller albums, too.

I've made a handful of 6x8 pages and I use 6x8, 4x6, or 3x4 photos. So far I haven't used square photos on a 6x8 page.

I use all the above mentioned sizes, but I also occasionally will use a 5x7 photo also... kinda like an almost full page photo but w/ a little border around it.

I scrap only 6x8 now. I use everything from 2x2 to 4x6 even some 6x8 photos. If I'm doing a 6x8 page I tend to use more 3x3 and 3x4 photos. Otherwise I do a lot of pocket pages with 3x4 and 4x6 slots.

besides 3x4 and 4x6 I love the Simple Stories Insta pocket pages with some 2x2s or 4x4.
I also print my full size photos as 6 x 8.25 so the photos reach the top of the page protector.

I do a variety of sizes for 6x8 which is normally just used for my DD album. Full page, 6x4 and 3x4 plus I make a lot of collages using PSE templates that might be say 6,9 or 12 small pics. I also have some other types of page protectors that take 2 inch pics and similar.

I scrap 6x8 Project Life. I use both 4x6 and 3x4 (for vertical). I'm interested in printing a few 6x8 though- that could be fun!

Smaller than 6X8. Although, I think a 12X12 explosion page would look stunning. Here is a 24X24 explosion page: CKC Contest By Don1

I think I will order some pocket page protectors and then I'll have more options. Some layouts and some pocket pages. Smaller than 6X8. Although, I think a 12X12 explosion page would look stunning. I'm not sure how that would work on a 6x8 layout. I guess you'd have to take it out of the page protector to open it up and look at it. I'd prefer to be able to enjoy that album without having to take anything out.

The explosion page is attached between 2 pages. It would fold to 6". There is no protection.

Do you happen to know if they'd fit into a PL album? I'm wondering if the holes in the page protector would line up. I guess I could fix them if they didn't.

I have mine in 6x8 Snap albums so am not sure what else they fit into.
