Looks like it could be a cool house, undecorated. Some of the trim and detail looks really cool. I love the black and white floor at the foot of the stairs (and the staircase is nice.) It also looks much bigger inside than it appears from the outside.
But oh yeah, my eyes hurt with all that white and mirrors!

Is that a crocheted ceiling in the brown/orange snug type room? I do believe it is. Where are my crochet buddies KelleeM JoP lainey jeremysgirl (and all the others I can't think of right now...) - something new for us to do!

The basement was creepy to me! It looks like some coffee shop somewhere Oh my, I can only go at the rest of the property....who the heck would buy it, it would cost a fortune to clear it out!

OMG...I always love a Peas real estate listing and this one did not disappoint. Normally I would frown on 70 photos in a listing but in this case I feel it is warranted.
I agree with a previous poster that suggested the only showing on sunny days likely had to do with carpets/cleanliness. For all of it's craziness, the house appears immaculate.
The basement...I was also creeped out by this, starting with the photo of the stairs going down there. I don't know why. I think basements are kind of inherently creepy but I live in Florida and we don't have those. If we tried, we would just have an underground swimming pool I think.
You get the CARS! Those are kind of awesome. Are those roof shingles painted silver on the ceiling of the garage?
Overall, this listing gets an A+ in my book. Thanks for sharing, OP!

Someone carefully staged everything in that house for showing -- look at lainey's picture with the statues on the bedspread, tray of champagne glasses... The effort should have been in removing all that crap.
I thought it was weird to have so many grand baubles, and such plain kitchen cabinets.

I want to sit and drink coffee and crochet in this groovy room. Seriously would fit with my house. And somebody please buy it and send me the end table! At the very least I must have that.

I felt as if I were looking at 2 different houses. One was flamboyant. The other fell out of The Brady Bunch. Yes!! When I saw the first glimpse of the kitchen I was so confused because it didn't look like it could possibly be the same home as the previous photos, which, as several people mentioned, did have a real Liberace vibe to me. And I do really want to know what the deal with the plastic on the one toilet & bathroom floor was all about. I think the sunny day thing is too keep mud out of the house, or to keep people from slipping on the floors if their feet are wet. While even the garage was over the top to me, I did like the panels of the garage door with the different makes of cars on each one. That was something I could see a new owner actually keeping if they were a car enthusiast. Another head-scratcher to me was the railing of the main staircase. I was pretty shocked that they left it a natural wood color. I would have expected it to be white or to be some metallic finish instead.

It, uhm, has good bones?
I don't know what I enjoyed more. The toilet wrapped in plastic or the same plastic on the floor in the bathroom as it is in the garage.

Oy my eyes...Beyond all of the crap in there; I have to say the kitchen and bathrooms need to be gutted and redone. The appliances look like they are from the 60’s or 70’s. And the plastic wrap on the toilet; really, why; what can be wrong with the toilet? If I suddenly woke up with those statues staring at me; it would probably scare me to death.

First thought (maybe because of the Joey Tribianni thread?) was that this could be Phoebe Buffay's house!
I was also very creeped out by the basement stairs, then you round the corner and there's happy, bright patio furniture? I envision that the owner hosted bunco night with her Red Hat ladies!

I like the vintage kitchen and love the vintage tile in the bathrooms. Now, the basement...set up as a cabaret for cardboard Elvis? And the ironwork on all the exterior windows? Where in Detroit is this? Yikes!

I wonder if the sale of these items would be enough to cover the costs of a reno?

I don't think that the mirrors are because the owners were vain. I think it was to make the house look bigger, which from the comments above it seems like it worked.

Imagine what it looked like before they decluttered for the listing photos 😉😂
I’m having the same reaction I have after watching an episode of hoarders therefore I’m off to throw away everything in my house.

All I can think of this is - Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Are we sure "everything included" doesn't also mean the dead owners? I swear, that picture could be from a mortuary and their caskets might be under that velvet drape. Bonus is the cremated pets stored in lovely boxes at the foot of the casket. Quick, which pea lives nearby and has a sunny day free to check out my theory?

HAHA - I used to live a few blocks away, the surrounding neighborhood is filled with blight and is not very safe. I can't imagine they will get the asking price. I currently live about 3 1/2 miles from here, my niece is a realtor, maybe I can finagle my way into a showing... on a sunny day!

Definitely unique and over the top. That one bathroom was hideous. It made me think of My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

each bed is placed/outfitted like a shrine!! my question is "no headboard, no wall, how do the pillows not fall off when you are sleeping??". AND as for the plastic in the bathroom, that appears to be a (gasp) carpeted bathroom. assuming it was an elderly person who lived there, that was quite smart, really. i wanna see the fab 5 from queer eye do a walk thru of that house!
