I wonder if they paid for it. I know our small town newspaper will print some things but if you want all things printed you have to pay.
As my Dh's grandfather used to say, "This is re-God-damn-diculous!" I truly believe my God doesn't believe in this level of judgement and hate.

No one reads the newspaper anymore. That isn't a true statement. I read multiple newspapers, including the obituaries, daily.

How long has gay marriage been allowed in Canada? A friend of mine and his husband have been married for something like 17 years. They were married in canada. By court decision, as early as 2003 in Ontario and BC. It was legislated federally in 2005.

My FIL died about a year ago. My MIL left me out of the obituary. I've been legally married to her son for 27 years and I am the mother of 2 of her grandchildren (who WERE named).
It really sucked.
